Crime Report on Nov. 07, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 108/16 has been registered at PS East today on 07.11.2016 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS East Shimla stated therein that today on 07.11.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff, at about 02-30 PM, one person namely Ramesh Thakur S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Kanta Niwas, Vikas Nagar, Shimla A/P Conductor in HRTC Deptt. Unit Rohru intercepted by them at Vikas Nagar Bazar and recovered  330 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 from his possession. Above accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS East.

2. Today a Kalandara U/S 3,4 of Public Gambling Act has been prepared by ASI Deep Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai stated therein that today on 07.11.2016, during search operation at Dorgri, DIM (Kuenal), six persons namely Anil Bharota, Sunil Chauhan, Abhishek, Narender, Joginder and Prem Chauhan  playing gambling with cards at the home of Narender Chauhan and recovered Rs. 1,12,000/- from the spot.

3. A Causing Death by negligence case FIR No. 270/16 has been registered at PS West on 06.11.2016 U/S 336 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sharwan Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Sahnol, PO Namhol, Tehsil Sadar Bilaspur A/P Lifeguard, The Obreoi Cicil Hotel Chaura Maidan, Shimla stated therein that on 06.11.2016, he told Sh. Vipul Gupta, House  Keeping Manager for the maintenance of swimming pool. Three persons namely Sukh Dev, Mohd. Azad & Gopal were doing maintenance work. As Sukh Dev gave the drill machine to Mohd. Azad, who was stood inside the swimming pool, suddenly he cried loudly. They immediately brought him to Sanitarium Hospital, where doctor declared him brought dead. Above incident took place due to negligence work of Hotel Management, Engineer & workers. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West.    

4. An Accident case FIR No. 134/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 06.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjay Verma S/o  Sh. Joginder Verma R/o Village Daithal, PO Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that on 06.11.2016, Harsha Thakur, age 7 years, who was son of his maternal Brother was standing near roadside below his house. At about 07-00 PM, a Alto Car No. HP-14B-4312 driven by Kapil Verma, came rashly & hit Harsha Thakur, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh, I/O PS Kumarsain.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 189/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 06.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Shirguli, PO Deha Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 06.11.2016, he was going towards Theog. At about 04-00 PM, when he reached near Balghar, where a Alto Car No. HP-62D-0535 met with an accident due to rash rash & negligence driving of Man Mohan Siingh and rolled down 700 meter from the road. In this accident, two person namely Man Mohan Singh S/o Sh. Anant Ram & Rohit S/o Sh. Balak Ram (Both) R/o Shirguli  sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev, I/C PP Deha.

6. An Accident case FIR No. 190/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 07.11.2016 U/S 279 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Keshav Chand, I/C PP Chhaila, Shimla stated therein that  today on 07.11.2016 at about 07-00 AM, a vehicle No. HP-09C-0322 (Weagon-R) met with an accident near Chhaila at Shilli Mode due to rash & negligence driving of Rajan Dhanayek & rolled down 200 meter from the road. In this accident two persons namely Rajan Dhanayek S/o Narender Dhanayek R/o Village & PO Chaithla, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 20 years and Ronak Sawant S/o Sh. Pratap Sawant R/o Village Kaleinu, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 21 years died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand, I/C PP Chhaila.

7. An Accident case FIR No. 80/16 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 07.11.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Bhikham Chand R/o Village Nalawan PO Chalahal Teh Sunni Distt Shimla age 35 years stated therein that today on 07.11.2016 at about 07:50 AM his vehicle No. HP-03D-0259 (Alto Car) collide with vehicle No. HP-01A-5268 (Tata Sumo) at Nadukhar caused sustained injuries to Prem Chand s/o Parkash Chand VPO Pahal & Prem Chand S/O Jagat Ram R/o Village & PO Pahal. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod Kunar, I/O PS Sunni.

8. During last 24 hours 311 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 166 & fine realized Rs. 56,080/- & 57 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,850/-.

Inquest Report

Deceased Ram Lal S/o Sh. Yashpal R/o Village Rallu, Tehsil & PS Rampur, Shimla, age 24 years, who was working as a helper in JCB Machine with Contractor Ajay Negi, brought to IGMC Shimla for treatment due to felling of tree during road cutting at Ratnari in the jurisdiction of PS Kotkhai, where doctor declared him brought dead.

Follow Up

1. Accused  Babu Ram S/O Sh. Matha Ram R/O Vill. Droal, PO Satog, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, aged 39 year arrested in case FIR No. 107/16 Dt. 05.11.2016 U/ S 454, 380 IPC at PS East is on Police Remand upto 10.11.2016

2. Accused Ramesh Thakur S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Kanta Niwas, Vikas Nagar, Shimla A/P Conductor in HRTC Deptt. Unit Rohru, arrested in case FIR No. 108/16 Dt. 07.11.2016 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act  at PS East. He will be produced before Ld Court tomorrow.
