Crime Report on Nov. 30, 2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 94/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 29.11.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla stated therein that on 29.11.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Kiari. On the secret information, police raid has been conducted in the dhaba of Sahil S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village & PO Kiari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla and recovered 10 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Rangar Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Kotkhai.  

2. An Accident case FIR No. 283/16 has been registered at PS West on 29.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjay Sood S/o Sh. Gian Chand Sood R/o Village Premghat, Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 29.11.2016, he was going towards Chandigarh in his vehicle No. CH-01-BH-2325. At about 12-05 PM, when he reached near Shoghi, at the same time a vehicle No. CH-02-AA-2981 driven by Vikramjeet Rana, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh, I/O PS West.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 211/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 30.11.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Aman Verma S/o Sh. Sohan Lal R/o Village Kariali, PO Kiar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith school children namely Sujjal was coming towards Chhaila in the vehicle of Sh. Narayan Singh. When they dropping the school children Sujjal at Bagain, at the same time one M/car No. HP-09A-4209 came rashly from Chhaila side and hit school children and run away from the spot towards Kotkhai, cause sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PP Chhaila.   

4. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 377/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 29.11.2016 U/S 341, 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ranjeet Singh S/o Sh. Nek Ram R/o Om Niwas, Khalini Shimla stated therein that one person namely Manjoor Ahmad Khan obstructed his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Puran Chand, I/O PS Sadar.

5. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminally Intimidation case FIR No. 282/16 has been registered at PS West on 29.11.2016 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pawan Kumar S/o Sh. Khem Singh Thakur R/o Village Kasog, PO Chandi, Tehsil Arki, Solan, HP stated therein that on 29.11.2016, he alongwith Narotam Kumar (Owner) was going towards Hiranagar in vehicle No. HP-01A-4410. At about 02-40 PM, when they reached near Higanagar, driner of Indica Car No. HP-01M-0534 namely Nikku Ram, obstructed their way & beaten him brutally. He also abused them and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Janam Dev, I/O PP Jutogh.

6. A Theft case FIR No. 84/16 has been registered at PS Sunni on 29.11.2016 U/S 447, 379 IPC on the application of Smt. Meena Devi W/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Village Gharyana, PO & Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 45 years alleging therein that on 26.10.2016, Minki & Ramesh (both) S/o Sh. Rewa Dass criminally trespassed in her house and stolen away old Temple. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.

7. A Theft case FIR No. 85/16 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 30.11.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh Mahinder Kumar S/o Sh. Padma Ram R/o Village & PO Khaira, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 28.11.2016, some unknown person has stolen away 07 wooden door frames from the slab (lenter) of his house. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Lal, I/O PS Sunni.  

8. During last 24 hours 300 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 148 & fine realized Rs. 51,000/- & 53 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,250/-.

1. Accused i) Sajid @ Pappu S/o Liakat R/O Ali Ki Chungi Indira Chowk Street No. 4, PS Mandi Distt. Sharnpur UP & ii) Sadik S/O Sh. Ali Hasan R/O Bari Majra Tehsil Nakud PS Gangoh Distt. Sharnpur UP, arrested in Case FIR No. 189/16 Dt. 29.07.2016 U/S 379 IPC at PS West, today remanded in judicial custody for 14 days by the Ld. Court.  

2. Accused Sanjay Guleria S/o Sh. Balwant Singh  R/O Village Kathiun,  PO Gander   Distt. Bilaspur age 39  years, arrested  in Case FIR No. 85/16 Dt. 28.03.2016 U/S  420,34 IPC at PS West, is remanded in Police Custody 03.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Deepak Verma S/o Sh. Prem Chand R/o E-66, Inder Enclave, Phase-2, near Shiv Mandir, Kiari, Suleman Nagar, Delhi, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 372/15 Dt. 28.10.2015 U/S 420, 120B IPC at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police custody upto 02.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Mast Ram S/o Sh. Joban Dass, R/o Village Khadder, PO Nakorapul, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla, age 54 years A/P BO in Forest Corporation, arrested in case FIR No. 70/16 Dt. 29.11.2016 U/S 376B IPC at PS Chopal, is being produced before Ld. Court today.

5. Accused i) Kamesh Talta S/o Sh. Parma Nand, R/o Village & PO Dewat, Tehsil Chopal District Shimla age 26 Years and ii) Karam Dass S/o Lat. Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Jirara, PO Matal, Tehsil & PS Kupvi, District Shimla, age 21 years arrested today in case FIR No. 67/16 Dt. 08.11.2016 U/S 409,34 IPC at PS Chopal. Tomorrow they will be produced before Ld. Court.
