Crime Report on April 28, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 100/16 has been registered at PS West today on 28.04.2016 U/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pawan Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Lok Sharma R/o Sharma Electrical  Shop Shalli Bazar, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 57 years stated therein that on 27.04.2016, he alongwith his wife Smt. Santosh & daughter Pooja was coming to Shimla from Una in his vehicle No. HP-09A-2036. At about 07-30 PM, when he reached near Taradevi,  at the same time a vehicle No. HP-62C-2800 driven by Gauri Shankar, came rashly in wrong direction towards Shimla and hit his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Laiq Ram, I/O PS West.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 84/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 28.04.2016 U/S 279,337,323,34 IPC on the rukka of ASI Karam Chand I/C PP City Rampur alleging therein that on 27.04.2016, on the information of accident, he alongwith staff rushed to spot near Hotel Satluj view Rampur  and found that  one M/Cycle No CH-04L-7579 and  A/F Car i-20 collide with each-other,  due to rash and negligent driving of  both vehicle's driver namely Ishwar S/O Shiv lal & Ashwani. After that Ishwar alongwith his friend beaten Ashwani brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand, I/C PP City Rampur.

3. Assault on Public Servant during discharge of Govt. duty Case FIR No. 17/16 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 27.04.2016 U/S 353 332 IPC has been registered on the statement of Const. Rajesh Kumar No. 536, posted at PS Chopal stated therein that on 27.04.2016, he alongwith another police personnel deployed for law & order duty during Bishu fair at Kupvi. Four persons namely Surender S/o Sh. Rai Singh, Arun Kumar S/o Sh. Kanshi Ram, Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Jeevan Singh & Pradeep Kumar S/o Hari Singh All the resident of village Bagi, PO Charoli, Tehsil & PS Kupvi came there in Alto Car No. HP-08A-0290 and scuffle with them during duty. They have also abused them, beaten Ct. Sudheer No. 589 and turn up the dress of Ct. Dinesh Kumar No. 1269. Three persons namely Surender, Arun & Dinesh Kumar have been arrested by the police and Pradeep Kumar run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Sandeep Sharma, SHO PS Kupvi. 

4. A Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant case FIR No. 52/16 has been registered at PS East today on 28.04.2016 U/S 188 IPC on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS East Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith staff was on law & order duty at HP Secretariat &  Bus Stop, Chhota Shimla. At about 11-50 AM, workers of CITU under the leadership of Sh. Vivek Kashyap & Babu Ram gathered near Gate of HP Secretariat and sat on dharna/ demonstration. They have shouting slogans against the state govt. & District Administration Kinnaur in support the demands of labourers of Shong-Tong Project and disobey the order of District Magistrate. Seven workers namely Vivek Kashyap, Babu Ram, Vidya Dutt, Hira Singh, Jeet Singh, Attar Singh & Manohar have been arrested by the police and released on personal/Surety Bond. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS East, Shimla.      

5. During last 24 hours 497 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 176 & fine realized Rs. 71,300/-and 71 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 7,700/-

   On 27.04.2016, Deceased Sanjay Kumar S/O Lt. Sh Sant Ram R/O Village Dagog PO Durgapur Tehsil & Distt Shimla age 32 Years has been brought to IGMC Shimla for treatment from village Dagog near Durgapur, where Doctor declare him brought dead. After conducted autopsy, his deadbody handed over to his relative for cremation.

1. Accused Vinay Kumar S/o Sh. Hari Krishan R/o House No 7337, Samrala Chowk Ludhiana, arrested today in case FIR No 55/16 Dt. 15.02.2016 U/S 457,380 511 IPC at PS West, is on police remand upto 30.04.2016. 

2. Accused 1) Anup Kumar S/o Sh. Shyam Murari Mehta R/o Village Telga, PO Khashdhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, 28 years and 2) Susheel Kumar S/o Sh. Bheem Singh R/o Village Sandasu, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla age 24 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 26/16 Dt. 24.04.16 U/S 379 34 IPC at PS Chirgaon, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Gopal Singh S/o Sh Kali Ram R/o Village Dhandi Bagh PO Khatnol Tehsil Suni Distt Shimla, arrested today in case FIR No. 55/16 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS West, is on Police Remand up to 29.04.2016

4. Accused Vijay Kumar S/o Sh. Bal Ram R/O Village Near High School Babyal P.O Bayal PS West  Mahesh Nagar Teh. Ambala Distt Ambala Haryana Age 40 years arrested in case FIR No. 98/16 Dt. 26.04.2016  U/S 454, 380,511 IPC at PS West, is on Police remand up to 29.04.2016.

5. Accused Sunil Randhawa S/o Lt. Sh. Gogi R/o Balmiki Colony, Ward No. 20, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, age 32 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 108/12 Dt. 20.07.2012 U/S 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar, is on police remand upto 02.05.2016.
