Crime Report on April 17, 2016

1. A House Trespass case FIR No. 80/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 17.04.2016 U/S 451 323 506 427 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sushant Sharma S/o Sh. Joginder Pal R/o Village Nogali, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is running a shop at Nogali. On 17.04.2016 at about 09-15AM, three persons namely Shiv Singh, Tikkam  Ram (Both S/o Relu Ram) & Kukki S/o Sh. Shiv Singh R/o Village Overi, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, have entered in his shop & beaten him brutally. They have also broken his shop and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagar Ram, I/O PS Rampur.

2. A Burglary Case  FIR N.o 81/16 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 17.04.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC  on the Complaint of Sh. Chetan Chauhan S/o Sh. C.P Chauhan R/o Verma House Lower Dudhli Shimla  alleging therein that some unknown person has broken the window of his house and stolen away one Toshiba LED 40" , Italian 4 Burner Gas Stove, Music System, Mixer /Grinder. The case is investigated by HC Raj Pal I/O PP Lakkar Bazar  Shimla.

3. Abetment to commit Suicide case FIR No. 34/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 17.04.2016 U/S 306 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Shiv Ram R/o Village Bahva, PO Jadoli, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu alleging therein that his daughter has solemnized marriage with Rajender S/o Lt. Sh. Tikkam Singh R/o village Juli, PO Labana, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla four years ago. After marriage her husband Rajender tortured her mentally & physically, due to which on 16.07.2016 she committed suicide by hanging herself from the tree. The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant, SHO PS Jhakri.

4. During last 24 hours 334 vehicles challaned under MV Act, compounded=142 & fine realized Rs. 52,400/- and 57 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs 6,100/-

Accused Gopal Singh S/o Sh Kali Ram R/o Village Dhandi Bagh PO Khatnol Tehsil Suni Distt Shimla, and Bharat Singh S/o Sh Bulaki Prasad R/o jarnail enclave flat No 20 ground floor Jirakpur Mohali Chandigarh arrested in case FIR No. 24/16 Dt. U/S 457, 380, 411 IPC at PS Sadar Shimla. are on police remand upto 18.04.2016.   

2. Accused Rajesh Kumar Thakur S/o Sh Jugal Kishore villager Barwan P/o Basant Pur Tehsli Sarkaghat Distt Mandi age 32 years A/P R/O Rajta Niwas Sanjaouli Shimla arrested in case FIR No 80/16 Dt 14.04.2016 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, today sent to judicial remand by the trial court.

3. Accused Shahid S/o Sh. Abdul Kreem R/O Vill Mubarikpur P.O Puhana The. Puhana  Distt Nuhu Mewath Age 30 year (2) Nakib Khan S/O Sh. Maksood R/O Village Mundheta  P/o Puhana The. Puhana  Distt Nuhu Mewath Haryana  Age 30  years (3) Mohamad Irsad S/O Zakir Hussian R/O Vill papara P.O Puhana The. Puhana  Distt Nuhu Mewath Haryana  Age 24  years have been  arrested in case FIR No. 96/16 Dated 16.04.2016  U/S 420, 34 IPC at PS West, are on police remand upto 20.04.2016.

4. Accused Kewal Ram S/o Sh. Moti Ram R/o Village Pab, PO Bhuzzal, Tehsil Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, HP & Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Balak Ram R/o Village Pab, PO Buzzal, Tehsil Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, HP arrested in case FIR No 35/16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai is on police remand upto 18.04.2016.

5. Accused Praduman Justa S/o Sh. Pratap Justa R/o Village Badeu, PO Panog, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla, Age 36 years arrested in case FIR No 95/16 Dt 15.04.2016 U/S U/S 22,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West is on police remand upto 18.04.2016.

6. Accused Arjun Thakur S/o Sh Om Prakesh Thakur R/o VPO Rajhana Tehsil and Distt Shimla arrested in case FIR No 52/16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS New Shimla is on police remand upto 18.04.2016.

7. Accused Jiva Ram @ Jivan Singh S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o
    Village Shahidwar (Khans) PO Arsu, Tehsil Nirmand, Kullu, age 23 year,  arrested in case FIR No. 33/16 U/S 363 366A 376 354A 354D & 4, 8 POCSO Act at PS Jhakri. is on police remand upto 18.04.2016.
