Crime Report on April 26, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No 18/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 25.04.2016 U/S 279, 337, 304(A) IPC on the statement of Sh. Khayali Ram S/O Sh. Dharam Chand R/o Village Chayama PO Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla stated there in that on 25.04.2016 at about 06.30 PM, A Alto Car No. HP-08A-1824 met with an accident near Chayama due to rash and negligent driving of Naresh Tegta S/O Dulla Ram R/O Malat Tehsil Kupvi Distt Shimla and rolled down from the road. In this accident Bhagat  Ram Tegta died during treatment and other persons namely Mamta Tegta W/O Naresh R/O Malat age 36 years, Minakshi W/O Virender age 27 years, Sanvi D/O Virender age 4 years, Sanjeevni D/O Virender age 4 years sustained injuries. The case is investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh I/O PS Nerwa.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 19/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 26.04.2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Naresh Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Karam Chand R/o Village Kaiyuana, Jubbal, Shimla, age 46 years stated therein that on 25.04.2016, after  attend the marriage at Kharapathar, he alongwith Balbir Chauhan were coming back to home in vehicle No. HP-10-0979 (Zen Estilo). At about 09-50 PM, when they reached near Jhaldi, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Balbir Chauhan. In this accident Balbir Chauhan died on the spot and Naresh Chauhan sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram, I/O PS Jubbal.

3. A House Trespass case FIR No. 82/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 25.04.2016 U/S 451, 323, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Subhash Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Atma Ram R/o Village Tharu Paprola,  Tehsil Baijnath, Distt. Kangra stated therein that on 25.04.2016 at about 07-00 PM, one person namely Kuldeep Kanwal came outside his shop at Middle Bazar, Shimla and asked him to return his money. On his refusal, he entered in his shop and beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Dass, I/O PS Sadar.   

4. During last 24 hours 755 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 450 & fine realized Rs. 1,10,700/-and 65 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 6,500/

1. Deceased Suresh Kumar S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o village Bhooth-2, age 17 years, was found dead in Shilla Khad near Bharanu Dawada in the jurisdiction of PS Nerwa, due to electric shock, while fishing in the stream using a wire ring connected with electricity. After conducted autopsy at CHC Nerwa, his deadbody handed over to his family for cremation.

2. Deceased Ram Lal S/o Sh. Devi Ram R/O Vill Digthali PO Suisurahad tehsil Bilaspur  A/P Salesman in Sharma Sweet Shop Bus Stand Shimla aged 66 yrs. has brought to DDUZH Shimla for treatment,  where Medical Officer declared him brought dead due to heart attack. After conducted his postmortem, his deadbody handed over to his family members for cremation.

1. Accused Vinay Kumar S/o Sh. Hari Krishan R/o House No 7337Samrala Chowk Ludhiana, arrested today in case FIR No 29/16 Dt. 10.02.2016 U/S 457,380 IPC at PS Sadar, is on police remand upto 27.04.2016.     

2. Accused Ankush S/o Sh. Bhag Chand R/o Village Punan P.O Nankhari  Tehsil Rampur has been arrested in case FIR No 81/16 Dt. 23.04.2016 U/S 376,506 IPC &6 POSCO Act at PS Rampur, today sent to judicial remand upto 06.05.2016 by the trail court. 

3. Accused 1) Anup Kumar S/o Sh. Shyam Murari Mehta R/o Village Telga, PO Khashdhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, 28 years and 2) Susheel Kumar S/o Sh. Bheem Singh R/o Village Sandasu, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla age 24 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 26/16 Dt. 24.04.16 U/S 379 34 IPC at PS Chirgaon, are on police remand upto 27.04.2016.

4. Accused Gopal Singh S/o Sh Kali Ram R/o Village Dhandi Bagh PO Khatnol Tehsil Suni Distt Shimla, arrested today in case FIR No. 55/16 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS West, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
