Crime Report on April 27,2016

1. A Trespass case FIR No 37/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 26.04.2016 U/S 448,427,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Sat Pal S/o Sh Kanshi Ram R/o village Rawin PO Sarahan Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he has a rental shop at Rawin. On 26.04.2016, Smt. Yagya Chan alongwith her husband Jitender have entered in his shop by breaking the lock and threw his articles outside from his shop. The case is being investigated by HC Dola Ram No. 57 I/O PP Sarahan.

2. An Attempt to theft case FIR No 98/16 has been registered at PS west on 26.04.2016 U/S 454,380,511 IPC on the statement of Sh Sanjay Kumar S/o Sh Lala village Mahi Ram Nagar Shimla alleging therein that on 26.04.2016 at about 01-00 PM, when he reached at his home and found that a person namely Vijay Kumar S/o Sh. Bal Ram R/O Vill Near High School Babyal P.O Bayal P.S. Maesh Nagar Tehsil. Ambala Distt Ambala Haryana Age 40 years entered in his house by breaking the door lock with the intention to commit theft.  Accused arrested and the case is being investigated by HC Prakash I/O PS West.

3. An Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No 99/16 has been registered at PS West on 27.04.2016 U/S 336,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Devinder Kumar S/o Sh Bali Ram R/o village Jhakri Lower P/o Shakrah Tehsil Dhami alleging therein that he working in J.K. Maa Koyala Point at Ghanahatti .On 19.04.2016, when he was putting down the tyre from the roof of Bus No 2547, suddenly  Bus driver, negligently drives the bus and he fell down from the roof. The case is being investigated by HC Yograj I/O PS West.

4. A Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant case FIR No 51/16 has been registered at PS East on 27.04.2016 U/S 188 IPC on the rukka of SI/SHO PS East Dharm Sain Negi alleging therein that today on 27.04.2016 he along with staff was on law & order duty at Chotta Shimla Bazaar. At about 12.05 PM, workers of CITU under the leadership of Sh. Rakesh Singha and Vijender Mehra gathered near the gate of H.P Secretariat and shouted slogans against the State Government and District Administration of Kinnaur and violated the section 144 CrPC. Ten persons namely Rakesh Singha, Vijender Mehra, Suresh Sarwal, Perm Lal, Dayal Singh, Balak Ram, Manoj Kumar, Deep Chand, Mehar Chand and Puran chand have arrested and released on personal/surety bond. The case is being investigated by SI  Dharam Sain SHO PS East.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 116/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 27.04.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Narinder Kumar S/o Sh. Nidhiya R/o Chalanui P/o Sarahan Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 26.04.2016 he along with Naseem, Khud Chand, Mohan & Gautam were going to Mashobra in the vehicle No CH-02-2803 (Innova). When they reached near Bhekhalti, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of Divender Kumar. In this accident they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Kanwer Singh Verma I/O PP Mashobra.

6. During last 24 hours 519 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 214 & fine realized Rs. 74,300/-and 58 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.= 6,400/

   Fire Incident

   Today a fire incident took place due to electric short circuit in the building of Sh Devki Nandan near PWD colony at Jubbal. Due to fire, a room of his tenant Sh. Yuv Raj has been burnt.

1. Accused Vinay Kumar S/o Sh. Hari Krishan R/o House No 7337Samrala Chowk Ludhiana, arrested today in case FIR No 29/16 Dt. 10.02.2016 U/S 457,380 IPC at PS Sadar, is being produced before Ld. Court today.     

2. Accused 1) Anup Kumar S/o Sh. Shyam Murari Mehta R/o Village Telga, PO Khashdhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, 28 years and 2) Susheel Kumar S/o Sh. Bheem Singh R/o Village Sandasu, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla age 24 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 26/16 Dt. 24.04.16 U/S 379 34 IPC at PS Chirgaon, are further on police remand upto 28.04.2016.

3. Accused Gopal Singh S/o Sh Kali Ram R/o Village Dhandi Bagh PO Khatnol Tehsil Suni Distt Shimla, arrested today in case FIR No. 55/16 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS West, is on Police Remand up to 29.04.2016

4. Accused Vijay Kumar S/o Sh. Bal Ram R/O Vill Near High School Babyal P.O Bayal PS West  Mahesh Nagar Teh. Ambala Distt Ambala Haryana Age 40 years arrested in case FIR No. 98/16 Dt. 26.04.2016  U/S 454, 380,511 IPC at PS West, is on Police remand up to 29.04.2016.

5. Accused Sunil Randhawa S/o Lt. Sh. Gogi R/o Balmiki Colony, Ward No. 20, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, age 32 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 108/12 Dt. 20.07.2012 U/S 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
