Crime Report on April 06, 2016

  1. An Accident case FIR No. 95/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 05.04.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Lokender Thakur S/o Sh. Sant Ram Thakur R/o Thakur Niwas, Dhobighat, Chhota Shimla alleging therein that on 05.04.2016, he was going to home from Cheog in his vehicle No. HP-52B-0184. At about 01-30 PM, when he reached near Chharabra, at the same time a Truck came rashly from Dhalli side in wrong direction and hit with his vehicle and run away from the spot. In this accident, he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Kewal Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
  2. An Accident case FIR No. 90/16 has been registered at PS West on 05.04.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Kiran Kumar, I/O PP Jutough, Shimla stated therein that on 05.04.2016, one HRTC Bus No. HP-63-3161 met with an accident near village Sharda due to rash & negligent driving of Ravinder and above bus rolled on the road. In this accident, 14 Passengers sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Kiran Kumar, I/O PP Jutough, PS West.
  3. An Accident case FIR No 36/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 06.04.2016 U/S 279,337,304A  IPC on the statement of Sh. Kishori Lal S/o Sh Kuka Ram R/o Village Baggi Tehsil & PS Khundiya Distt Kangra Age 46 years alleging therein that on 05.04.2016, he along with  Santosh Kumari, Deepak. Shamshar Singh, Vakeel Singh, were going to Reckong peo from Village Nahliya Kangra with his vehicle No.      HP-83-1476 (Alto-800). Today on 06.04.2016, at about 06-00 AM, when they reached near Barubag (Rai Khad), above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 150 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving by Vikram S/O Diwan Chand R/o Vill Nahliya. In this accident driver Vikram S/o Sh Diwan Chand R/o Village &PO Nahaliya Tehsil Khundiya Distt Kangra has been died on the way to IGMC & 5 persons 1. Shemsher Singh S/o Sh gian chand R/o Vill Bhunjal PO Nahiliya Tehsil Khundiya Distt Kangra Age = 46 years. 2 Sh Kishori Lal S/o Sh Kuka Ram R/o Vill Baggi tehsil and P.S Khundiya Distt Kangra Age 46 years. 3. Vakeel Singh S/o Sh Bashaki raj R/o VPO VATAWA Tehsil Tehsil Khundiya Distt Kangra Age = 66 Years. 4.Deepak S/o Madan Lal R/o Vill Kalri PO Thaklow Tehsil and P.S Jawalamukhi Age 16 years and 5. Santosh Kumari W/o Ram Murti Vill Sanala PO & P.S Dehra Distt Kangra Age 45 Years, sustained injuries.  
  4. A Rioting case FIR No. 56/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 05.04.2016 U/S 452,323,143, 147,148,149,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sunil S/o Sh. Narain Singh R/o Village Shergali, PO Deha, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 05.04.2016, he was taking rest in his yard. At about 05-00 PM, 06 persons namely Shashi S/o Virender, Honey, Virender, Manju, Rajender & Manjeet entered in his premises and beaten him brutally. One of them Shashi has attacked on his head with wooden rod and threatened  with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha, PS Theog.
  5. A Theft case FIR No. 33/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 06.04.2016 U/S 379,411 IPC on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 05/06.04.2016, he alongwith staff was on Nakabandi at Chhol. Today at about 01-50AM, one vehicle No. HP-63B-2099 (Pick-Up) alongwith two persons namely Rajeev Chauhan S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village & PO Tharola, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla & Kaku Ram S/o Sh. Prem Lal R/o Village Sudhan, Tehsil Sunder Nagar, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla stopped by them for checking. During search, 30 Bags of Ambuja cement recovered from their possession and they were failed to produce any bill/documents to carry the above cement. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS Kotkhai.
  6. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 57/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 06.04.2016 U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Paras Ram R/o Village Jaie, PO Kyar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.03.2016, he went to Chhaila Bazar to purchase some itmes regarding Shivratri festival. At the same time, two persons namely Ramesh & Roshan have beaten him brutally. Ramesh slaped him on his ear and they threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PS Theog.
  7. A Grievous Injury case FIR No. 32/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 06.04.2016 U/S 325, 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Kali Ram S/o Sh. Jherku Ram R/o Village Kotyhi Godmu, PO Pujarli No. 4, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla stated therein that on 04.04.2016, after attend the function at Village Tiludhar, when he was coming back to home and reached near village Shawla, at the same time two unknown persons have pushed him and beaten him with rods. On this his medical examination has been conducted at CHC Rohru. Today final opinion has been received in which Medical Officer has given grievous injury to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal, I/C PP Tikkar, PS Rohru.
  8. During last 24 hours 546 vehicles challaned under MV Act, compounded=174 & fine realized Rs.80,200/- and 138 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs 15,100/-

  1. Accused i) Rajeev Chauhan S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village & PO Tharola, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla & ii) Kaku Ram S/o Sh. Prem Lal R/o Village Sudhan, Tehsil Sunder Nagar, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, arrested today in case FIR No. 33/16 Dt. 05.04.16 U/S 379,411 IPC at PS Kotkhai, released on bail by the Trial Court.
  2. Accused Gopal Singh S/o Sh Kali Ram R/o Village Dhandi Bagh PO Khatnol Tehsil Suni Distt Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 48/16 Dt. 27.03.2016 U/S 457,380 IPC at PS New Shimla, is on Police remand up to 08.04.2016
  3. Accused Deepak Kumar Sharma S/O Sh Mahidher Sharma R/O Vill. Sainj P/O Kirti Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla arrested in case FIR No 336/15 U/S 420,465, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar is on Police Remand up to 07.04.2016
  4. Accused  Dinesh Kumar Chandayata @ Karan S/o Sh. Dharam Singh R/o Hakaina PO Jhakando Tehsil & PS Shillai Distt Sirmour A/P Jandev Niwas near Dowen Kothi, Mehali Shimla  age 26 years arrested today in case FIR No 25/16  Dt. 15.02.2016 U/S 306 IPC PS East. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
