Crime Report on March 31,2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 72/16 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla today on 31.03.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla alleging  therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty in the jurisdiction of PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla. When they reached at Lakkar Bazar Bus Stand, one person namely Nand Lal S/o Sh. Loka Ram R/o Pattibag, PO Kuthera, Tehsil Ghumarwin, Distt. Bilaspur, HP intercepted by them and recovered 24 bottles of English liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Rajnish Thakur, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.  

2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 47/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 30.03.2016 U/S 39(i) HP Excise Act  on the rukka of ASI Ram Singh, I/C PP Fagu, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.03.2016, during patrolling at Fagu, at about 09-30 PM one person namely Vishnu S/o Sh. Ram Samuj R/o Village Balipur, PO Haidargarh, Distt. Barabanki, UP intercepted by them and recovered 24 bottles of country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/C PP Fagu, PS Theog.

3. An Excise Act case FIR No. 73/16 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla today on 31.03.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Lachami Singh, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty in the jurisdiction of PS Sadar, Shimla. When they reached near at Shere-Punjab-Dhaba, one person namely Neb Bhadur S/o Sh. Khadag Bhadur R/o Mogan Katesh, P/o Madu, Tehsil Shalli, Distt. Salyan, Napal intercepted by them and recovered 08 bottles of English liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachami Singh, I/O PS Sadar Shimla.

4. An Excise Act case FIR 27/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 31.03.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajesh Kumar I/C PP Sarahan alleging therein that today on 31.03.2016 he was on patrolling duty in his jurisdiction and recovered 10 bottles of country liquor marka Una No.1 from the possession of Tara Chand S/o Roop Chand R/o Kaley P/o Sarahan Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla. The case is being Investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar I/C PP Saraha.

5. An Accident case FIR No 88/16 has been registered at PS West on 30.03.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh Hira Singh S/o Late Sh Jamana Dass R/o Gandal P/o Sakrat Tehsil & Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 30.03.2016, he was trevelling in bus No HP51-2260 from  Shimla to Panohi. When they reached near Vodaphone Store at Jhundla, at the same time another private bus No HP68-1746  came rashly from other side and collide with bus No HP51-2260, due to rash & negligent driving of Pyar Singh. In this accident, he alongwith some other passengers sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath I/O PS West.

6. An Accident case FIR No 50/16 has been registered at PS East on 30.03.2016 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh Ram Lal Sharma S/o Sh Kundan Lal Sharma R/o village Vahala P/o Chatri Tehsil Thunag Distt Mandi alleging therein that on 30.03.2016, he was going towards BCS from Khalini in his vehicle No.HP-09C-5551. At about 05-45 PM, an unknown grey colour vehicle came rashly & hit his vehicle from backside and run away from the spot.

7. A Roiting case FIR No. 15/16 has been registered at PS Chopal on 31.03.2016 U/S 147,149,323,506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohan Lal S/o Laiq Ram R/o Village Moslan, P/o Diya, Tehsil Chopal alleging therein that on 30.03.2016 at about 8.45 PM Pawan Mehta and Pinku Mehta with 5-6 persons come to Lalpani and beaten him brutally.They also threaten him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal I/o PS Chopal.

8. During last 24 hours 436 vehicles challaned under MV Act, compounded=148 & fine realized Rs.63,600/- and 121 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs 12,700/-

1. Accused Deep Ram S/o Late Sh. Jeeva Nand R/O Divya Nagar Totu Distt. Shimla H.P. age 56 years (2)  Mehar Singh S/O Sh. Luiya Ram R/O Village Kulah P.O. Madhol Tehsil Tyuni Distt. Dehradun U.K. age 45 years arrested in case FIR No. 83/16 on 25.03.2016 U/S 18,20,29 ND & PS Act at PS West are on Police remand up to 04.04.2016.

2. Accused  Billu Ram S/o Surjeet Singh R/o Johdo P/o Paruwala Tehsil Paunta Sahib Distt Sirmour  age 36 arrested in case FIR No 85/16 dated 28.03.2016 U/S 420,34 IPC  by .S.I. Ashish Samual I/O P.S.West is on Police remand upto 02.04.2016
