Crime Report on March 17, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No 16/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 16.03.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 16.03.2016. he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ Traffic Checking duty at Bakora Nalah. At about 06-30 PM, one person namely Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Thakur Sain R/o Village Gonsari, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla, age 32 years, intercepted by them and recovered 990 Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar I/O PS Chirgaon.  

2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 24/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 16.03.2016 U/S 37 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.03.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Gumma Hulli, Khatu nala. At about 02-00 PM, when they reached at Gumma, on the secret information, he searched the Dhaba of Veer Singh S/o Sh. Lok Veer R/o Village  Pachawan, Distt. Rolpa, Nepal and recovered 15 Bottles of Country Liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.

3. An Excise Act case FIR No. 59/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 17.03.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Deepak Thakur, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty in the jurisdiction of PP Sanjauli. At about 05-00 AM, one vehicle No. HP-62-1523 (Alto Car) driven by Beli Ram S/o SH. Bajaru Ram R/o Village Vaswari, PO Jau, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu A/P Thakur Niwas, Panthaghati Shimla, age 24 years alongwith Ishwar Dev S/o Sh. Kewal Ram R/o Village Kyani, PO Dogri, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla came from Sanjauli Chowk, stopped by them for checking. During search of vehicle, 60 bottles of Country liquor recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Deepak Thakur, I/C PP Sanjauli.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 53/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 16.03.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sumeet Kumar S/o Sh. Kailash Kaundal R/o Village Panog, PO AG-3, Shimla, age 25 years alleging therein that his uncle namely Vinod Kumar is coming towards Padechi from Pagog alongwith Pradeep & Baldev in vehicle No. HP-52-1185 (Maruti Car). When they reached near Pagog Nala, above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of his uncle Vinod Kumar. In this accident they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender Kumar, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

5. During last 24 hours 467 vehicles challaned under MV Act,  Total Challan compounded =206 & fine realized Rs. 69,000/-, 130 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 13,700/-.

1. Accused Rajinder Kumar S/o Sh Sant Ram R/o Village Didi P/o Mahasu Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla HP arrested in case FIR No 76/16 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, is on police remand upto 19.03.2016.

2. Accused Sanjay Kumar S/o Sh. Nikku Ram R/o Village Seehan, PO Gaggal,  Distt. Mandi, age 25 year, arrested in Case FIR No. 77/16 Dt. 15.03.16 U/S 17-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, is on police remand upto 19.03.2016.

3. Accused Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Thakur Sain R/o Village Gonsari, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla, age 32 years, arrested in case FIR No. 16/16 Dt. 16.03.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chirgaon, is on police remand upto 18.03.2016.
