Crime Report on March 26,2016

1. An Act ND&PS case FIR No. 83/16 has been registered at PS West on 25.03.16 U/S 18,20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Praveen Singh Rana, I/C PP  Jutough, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.03.2016, he along with staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PP Jutough. At about 03-30 PM, when they reached at Divya Nagar, two persons namely Aman Thakur S/o Sh. Narender Thakur R/o Sarla Bhawan, Kachighati, Shimla and Vipin Sharma W/o Sh. J.N. Sharma R/o Savitri Cottage, Kachighati, Shimla, intercepted by them and during search, 10 gram Opium recovered from the possession of Vipin Sharma. During enquiry, he told him that he purchased above opium from Deep Ram. After that, Police has raided in the House of Deep Ram R/o Divya Nagar Totu and recovered 08 Kg. Opium & 08 Kg. Charas from his house. All accused arrested and case is being investigated by SI Praveen Rana, I/C PP Jutough, PS West, Shimla.

2. An Excise Act case FIR No 64/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 25.03.2016 U/S 39(i)(a)HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Lachami Singh I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 25.03.2016 he was on patrolling duty towards Cart Road Old bus Stand, Bambloi along with staff. When they reached near Mahamaya Hotel two persons namely Raj Kumar S/o late Sh Virsa Urma R/o Mukanda P/o Bodya Tali Tehsil Simai Distt Gamula Jharkhand and Taras Kerketa S/o Sh Fulihar Kerketa R/o village Bear P/o Jogari Tehsil Ghagara Distt Gumla Jharkhand intercepted by them and recovered 24 bottles of country liquor from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Lacchmi Singh I/O PS Sadar.

3. An Excise Act case FIR No 28/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 25.03.2016 U/S 39(i)(a)HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO Dharm Sain Negi PS Kotkhai  alleging therein that on 25.03.2016 he was on patrolling duty in his jurisdiction along with staff. One persons Manoj Chauhan S/o Sh Tara Chand R/o village Golo P/o Nagan  Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla intercepted by them and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by of SI/SHO Dharm Sain Negi PS Kotkhai.

4. An Excise Act case FIR No 45/16has been registered at PS New Shimla on  26-03-2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SHO New Simla Vikram Bonsra alleging therein that today on 26.03.2016 he was on patrolling duty towards Lal Pani along with staff .When they reached near Lal Pani a person namely Suraj S/o Sh Kashmir Singh R/o near Labour Hostel Lal Pani Shimla intercepted by Them and recovered 24 bottles of country liquor from his possession.The case is being investigated by SHO New Simla Vikram Bonsra    

5. An Accident case FIR No 67/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 25.03.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Rohit Thakur S/o Sh Joginder Singh R/o village Badrash Tehsil Rampur alleging therein that on 25.03.2016 a vehicle No. HR-41D-0046 met with an accident near his home in which driver Anju D/o Sh Chandu Lal and 04 other people sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Naresh Addl.SHO PS Rampur.

6. During last 24 hours 545 vehicles challaned under MV Act, compounded =376 & fine realized Rs.91,900/- and 21 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs 2,100/-

   Follow-Up

1. Accused prem @ Raju S/o Lt Tika Ram R/o Vill Munahana PO Malari  Tehsil Nalagarh Distt Solan Age  23 years arrested in case FIR No 33/16 dated 20-3-16 U/S 363,366,376 IPC at PS Kumarsain sent to Judicial custody by Ld Court.

2.  (1) Accused Aman Thakur S/o Sh. Narender Thakur R/o Sarla Bhawan, Kachighati, Shimla (2) Vipin Sharma W/o Sh. J.N. Sharma R/o Savitri Cottage, Kachighati, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No 83/16 U/S 18,20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West is being produced before Ld court today.
