Crime Report on March 23,2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 62/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 22-03-16 U/S 39 (I) (a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Paramjeet Singh I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that he was patrolling towards old bus stand ,Victory tunnel along with staff .When he reached near Winterfield and intercepted a person Namely Tilak Bahadur S/o Sh Devi Ram Thapa R/o 34 Anaj Mandi Gunj Shimla age 21 and recovered 09 bottles of country liquor from his possession .The case is being investigated by  ASI Paramjeet Singh I/O PS Sadar.

2. An Accident case FIR No.14/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 22 03.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Chandan Singh S/O Lt Sh Kundan Singh Vill Lingah Po Jhiknipul Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla alleging therein that  he was coming from gumma to his village when he reached near ganghut one alto car no HP07C-2044 met with an accident and rolled down about 50 m from road  due to rash and negligent driving of Lalit Rawat in which 7 persons sustained injuries.The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh I/O PS Nerwa.

3. An Accident case FIR No 82/16 U/S has been registered at PS West U/S 279.337 IPC on the statement of Sh Prem Lal S/o Sh Kundan Lal R/o village Bharmot P/o Shilgu Tehsil Chihiot Distt Mandi alleging therein that he is working as a door to door garbage collection worker In MC Shimla on 22.03.2016 he was going in vehicle No HP-07B-0754 to Bhayana along with driver Tek Ram. When he reache near 103 tunnel driver Tek Ram lost control over the vehicle and met with an accident in which he sustained injuries.The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar I/O PS West.

4. During last 24 hours 408vehicles challaned under MV Act,  Total Challan compounded =191& fine realized Rs. 73,300/-, 17 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1700/-

1. Accused prem @ Raju S/o Lt Tika Ram R/o Vill Munahana PO Malari  Tehsil Nalagarh   Distt Solan Age  23 years arrested in case FIR No 33/16 dated 20-3-16 U/S 363,366,376 IPC at PS is on Police remang up to 26.03.2016

2. Accused Munish Kumar S/o Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Syoh, PO Shabad, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu arrested in case FIR No. 66/16 Dt. 21.03.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli sent to judicial custody by Ld Court.
