Crime Report March 24, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 13/15  has been registered at PS Nerwa on today i.e. 24.03.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Nerwa stated therein that on 23.03.2015, he along with staff was on Naka duty at Fedijpul. At about 10.30 PM, one Truck No. HP-63 B- 1008 tata 1109 came from Gumma side, intercepted by them. During search, 70 Boxes of Bear Marka Superior 5000, King Fisher, 48 Boxes of English wine Marka Crazy Romeo & Party Special and 17 Boxes of nips English wine Marka McDowell and Impect has been recovered from the above vehicle driven by Jai Parkash S/O Mohan Lal R/O vill. Bhajon Po Kodga Tehsil and P.S Pounta Sahib Distt Sirmour age 30 year old. The Case is being investigated by SI/SHO Narender Singh PS Nerwa

2. Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No 53/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 23.03.2015 U/S 336,304A IPC on the Statement of Sh. Nikru Ram S/O Sh. Narianu Ram R/O Vill. Chilag, PO Sui, Surhar, Tehsil & PS Sadar Bilaspur at present tenant C/o Mahender Lal near slauter house Shimla stated therein that he is working as carpenter. On 23.03.2015 he alongwith some other Bihari labourer was working in Hotel Kohinoor. when painting  work of the roof of above Hotel was in progress, suddenly old cement sheet of  the roof  broken  and  a laborer  Sheesh Ram S/O Sh. Mastu Ram fell down & died on the spot. The case is being investigated by Insp./SHO PS Sadar.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 68/15 has been registered at PS West on 23.03.2015 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Smt. Archna Raj Thakur W/o Sh. Hem Raj Thakur R/o Village Bhag Bahar, PO Nehali, Tehsil Joginder Nagar, Distt. Mandi A/P Ekta Niwas, Kachighati Shimla, age 32 years stated therein that on 23.03.2015, she was coming to home alongwith her son Hardik Thakur from BSN School Chakkar Shimla. At about 04-00 PM, when they reached near Chakkar, one vehicle No. HP-01A-2938 came rashly and hit her son and ran away from the spot. In this accident her son Hardik Thakur sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh, I/O PS West.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 12/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 23.02.2015 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajpal S/o Late sh. Mela Ram R/o Village Hulli, PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 23.03.2015 at about 06-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP-09A-3905 (Ritz) met with an accident & rolled down 30/40 meter from the road near Hulli due to rash & negligent driving of Ankush S/o Sh. Heli Ram R/o Village Pal, PO Himari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.

5. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 20/15 has been registgered at PS East on 23.03.2015 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. lavoly Kumar S/o Late Sh. Murari Lal R/O Geeta Traders, Lower Panthaghati, Shiv Nagar, Karyah Chaily Shimla-9, age 33 years stated therein that on 23.03.2015 at about 04-15 PM, when he was coming back to home alongwith his daughter Harshita in his vehicle, on the way Sonu alongwith his 2/3 friends obstructed his way, pulled him from his car and beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Lal I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.

6. A Theft case FIR No. 17/15 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today i.e. 24.03.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Praveen Mehta A/P Principal, Gayatri Public School, Jhangla stated therein that in the intervening night of 22.03.2015, some unknown person has stolen away 80 liter Diesel from school Bus No. HP-10A-7436, parked near School. After checking the CCTV footage, it is found that one person namely Naresh Kumar R/o Village Banoti, PO Devidhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla has committed above theft. The case is being investigated by SI Manish Raj, SHO PS Chirgaon.

7. During the last 24 hours total 204 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act & 01 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challaned compounded =93 and fine realized Rs 24,600/-

1. Accused Jai Parkash S/O Mohan Lal R/O vill. Bhajon Po Kodga Tehsil and P.S Pounta Sahib Distt Sirmour arrested today in case FIR No. 13/15 Dt. 24.03.15 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  at PS Nerwa

2. Accused Kuldeep @ Vickey S/o Sh. Gulat Ram R/o Village Jaltu (Pashla) PO Adahal, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla age 32 years has been arrested today in case FIR No 21/15 Dt. 23.02.2015 U/S 457, 380 IPC PS Rohru, is on police remand upto 25.03.2015

3. Accused i) Pankaj @ Panku @ Pradeep S/o Sh. DAulat Ram R/o Village Jhinah, PO Chambi, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, ii) Lokender @ Dimple S/o Sh. Maan Singh R/o Village Tuel, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, iii) Devender @ Nanaku S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Tuel, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, iv) Chaman Mehta @ Sunil Mehta S/o Sh. Sant Rm R/o Village Tuel, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla have been arrested in case FIR No. 14/15 Dt. 12.03.15 U/S 302,147,148,149,452,323,354,364,436,506 IPC at PS Chopal, are on police remand upto 30.03.2015.
