Crime Report March 03, 2015

1. A Excise Act case FIR No. 60/15 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 02.03.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Shyam Tomar, I/O PS West Shimla stated therein that on 02.03.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ traffic checking duty. One vehicle No. HP-01A-2012 (Alto Car) driven by Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o Village & PO Patredi, Tehsil Ambala, Distt. Ambala, Haryana A/p Kamla Niwas, Lower Phagli, PO Nabha, Shimla, intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 84 bottles of Country liquor marka Suroor from his possession. The case  is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomar, I/O PS West.
2. A Fire Incident case  FIR No. 47/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 02-03-2015 u/s 285 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gaurav S/o Sh. Mohinder Kapoor R/o 112/8, Joshi Building, Near Apsra Guest House, Cart Road, Shimla A/P C/o Vijay Kumar Mobile Gallary, 92 Lower Bazar Shimla alleging therein that on 03.03.2015, he alongwith Vijay & Sanjeev has gone to home after locked the above Shop. At about 11-08 PM, he got information that his shop is burning due to fire. On this information, he rushed to his shop and found that fire fighters have already been  extinguish the fire. In this incident one computer, Monitor, Laptop, Speaker System, some new mobile phones, Tablets phones, mobile covers etc. have been burnt. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.
3. Use criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 61/15 is registered at PS West on 03.03.2015 U/S 353,506,34 IPC on the complaint of Lady Const. Sharwan Negi stated therein that on today she has an  evidence in the court of District & Session Judge, Shimla. After court evidence when she was coming out from the court, at the same time, wife of  accused Kuldeep &  brother-in-law (Jija) of Accused Mayank Bansal have scuffle with her and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by Insp. Biri Singh, SHO PS West.
4. During the last 24 hours total 50 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challaned compounded = 15 an d fine realized Rs 8,700/-

1. Two accused namely Surender Singh S/o Sh. Prem Singh R/o Village Daina, PO Choeg, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 29 years and Bhupender S/o Sh. Raghu Ram R/o Village Batlad, PO Fagu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla age 30 years have been arrested in case FIR No. 71/15 Dt. 01.03.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli, are on police remand upto 05.03.2015

2. Accused Deepak S/o Sh. Kehar Singh R/o Village Bajvi, PO Matiana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 19 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 72/15 Dt. 01.03.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli, is on police remand upto 05.03.2015

3. Two accused namely Ram Pratap S/o Sh. Radhe Shyam R/o Village Shubaka Purawaha, PO Kotia, Tehsil Milkipur, PO Khandasa, Distt. Fezabad, UP and Mohd. Arsad S/o Sh. Bundu Hassan R/o Village & PO Chilkana, Tehsil Nukkar, Distt. Saharanpur, UP have been arrested in Case FIR No. 14/15 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS East, are on police remand upto 07.03.2015.   

4. Accused Pammi S/o Sojia Ram R/o Vill Bangala Colony Engine ghar Sanjauli Shimla who had been arrested in case FIR 18/15 dated 28-02-15 u/s 454,380 PS Kumarsain, today released on bail by Trial Court.
