Crime Report March 17, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No.  17/15 has been registered at PS East, Shimla on 16.03.2015 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Het Ram, I/O PS East Shimla stated therein that on 16.03.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Vikas Nagar & Kasumpti in Shimla. At about 10-00 PM, when they reached near Old Brockhost, one person namely Tanu Sud S/o Late Sh. Narender Kumar Sud R/O Block No.- VI, Set No. 7, SDA Complex, Vikas Nagar, Shimla, age 32 years has been intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 60 tablets of Nitrosun- 10 restricted medicines from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Het Ram, I/O PS East.

2. A Theft case  FIR No 41/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 17.03.2015 U/S 379,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagdish Chand S/O Sh Dharmu Ram R/O Village Lalsa, PO Dansa, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla HP stated therein that on 16.03.2015 at about 11-30 PM Vehicle No. HP-63-0157 came toward  Shandal side. On doubts, he stopped the vehicle at Lalsa Bus stand. Four persons namely Nittu & Pinku (both) S/O Sh Jattu Ram R/o Village Gharayana PO Sunni, Shyam Lal S/O Sh Saraji, Nini S/O Sh Sadh Ram Village Devtun PO Nogli Tehsil Rampur have sat inside the vehicle. During Police checking Chassis, Engine and other parts of theft Compressor have been recovered from the above vehicle. The Case is being investigated by HC Ram Sain I/O PS Rampur.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 39/15 has been registered at PS Theog today i.e. 17.03.2015 U/S 279,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Chander Mohan S/o Sh. Mangat Ram R/o Village Shoghi, PO Tandi, Tehsil Aani, Distt. Kullu stated therein that on 17.03.2015, he was going towards Narkanda. At about 08-45 AM, when he reached near Sandu and saw that one Maruti car No. HP-09C-2731 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Sandeep S/o Sh. Bhoom Singh R/o Village Palat and rolled down 25/30 feet from the road. In this accident Sandeep died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Theog.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 64/15 has been registered at PS West today i.e. 17.03.2015 U/s 279,337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Harish Kumar, Incharge PP Jutogh, Shimla stated therein that in the intervening night of 16/17.03.2015, one vehicle No. HP-62A-1432 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Rajender Kumar S/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village Panchyadi, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla & rolled down from the road near Kalihatti. In this accident above person sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Harish Kumar, Incharge PP Jutogh.

5. During the last 24 hours total 121 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 01 Person Challan under smoking Act & 01 challaned under Mining Act. Total Challaned compounded =75 and fine realized Rs 33,700/-

Shimla , Dalip singh @ Papu S/O Joban sigh R/O Tuel Tehsil Chopal, Vishal @ Chotu S/O Sandeep Mehta R/O Jhina, Kundan sigh S/O Jalam sigh R/O Jhina,  Sandeep @ Kaku S/O Sh. Joban Dass R/O Tuel, Pradeep Kumar @ Ritu S/O Joban Dass R/O Tuel, Maan sigh S/O Kumbh Dass R/O Tuel , Prince Mohan S/O Sh. Maan sigh R/O Tuel and Nikhil S/O Sh. Sandeep Mehta R/O Jhina PO Chambi ,Tehsil Chopal Distt have been arrested in case FIR No. 14/15 DTD. 12.03.2015 U/S 302, 147, 148, 149, 452, 323, 354, 364, 436, 506, IPC PS Chopal.

2. Accused Tanu Sud S/o Late Sh. Narender Kumar Sud R/O Block No.- VI, Set No. 7, SDA Complex, Vikas Nagar, Shimla, age 32 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 17/15 Dt. 16.03.2015 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act, PS East.

3. Accused Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Phanku Ram R/o Village Nantla, PO Jangla, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla has been arrested in Case FIR No. 17/15 Dt. 15.03.15 U/S 454, 380 IPC at PS Chirgaon.
