Crime Report March 10, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 37/15 is registered at PS Theog on 10.03.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Singh Negi, Addl. SHO PS Theog stated therein that on 09.03.2015, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty towards Fagu & Lambidhar at Theog. On the secret information, he searched the shop of Bishan Dass S/o Sh. Sudama R/o Village Kail, PO Majhar, Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla and recovered 36 bottles of country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog.

2. Mischief by injury to works of irrigation case FIR No.10/15 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 09.03.2015 U/S 430,506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Krishan Lal S/O Sh. Bhola Ram R/O Village Baghi Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 01.03.2015 when he went to PGI Chandigarh in connection with treatment of his wife. In between, one person namely  Ashwani S/O Bhajan Dass R/O Village Bagi Tehsil Chirgaon broken the irrigation water pipe from his land and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being invested by ASI Kuldeep Kumar I/O P.S Chirgaon. 

3. An Accident case FIR No. 15/15 has been registered at PS East on 09.03.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajedner Kumar Rohal S/o Sh. Ram Bhaj Rohal R/o Village Aanji, PO Anandpur, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is working as Conductor at Recongpeo in HRTC Department. On 09.03.2015, he was on the route from Reckong Peo to Chandigarh in HRTC Bus No. HP-36B-3693 driven by Sh. Jagtar Singh. At about 05-30 PM, when they were crossing Chhota Shimla, above bus skid and hit with hill, due to snowfall. In this accident, 7/8 passengers sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Naresh, I/O PS East, Shimla.

4. During the last 24 hours total 122 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 01 person challaned under Smoking Act & 02 challaned under Mining Act. Total Challaned compounded = 58 an  fine realized Rs 17,800/-

1. Two accused namely Sanjeev Kumar S/O Sh. Suraj Bhan R/O Madra P.O Sawala Tehsile & Distt Agra (UP) A/P Pratap Singh Shopkeeper Near Shiv Mandir Phagli Shimla and Gurnaik Singh S/O Sh. Jagarnath R/O Village Alipur, PO Rurki, PS Garshankar, Distt Hoshiyarpur, Punjab have been arrested in Case FIR No. 14/15 U/S 457,380 IPC at PS East, are on police remand upto 12.03.2015
