Crime Report 29 January, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 06/14 has been registered at PS East on 28.01.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Om Krishan, I/O PAR Vikas Nager, Shimla stated therein that on 28.1.2015 on the information of accident he alongwtih staff rushed to the spot near Bharata Sadan, Vikasnagar Shimla and found that vehicle No. HP-08C-1282 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Rohit Sharma VPO Tharoch Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla. Two persons sustained injuries in this accident. The case is being investigated by HC Om Krishan, I/O PAR Vikas Nagar.  

2. An Accident case FIR No. 07/14 has been registered at PS East on 28.01.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dhyan Singh S/O Sh. Telu Ram R/O Village Manal, Tehisl Shilai Distt. Sirmour, stated therein that on 20.01.2015 at 9 PM he was present in his shop at Jivanoo colony Kasumpti Shimla. Suddenly a vehicle No. HP-02A-3737 (Scorpion) driven by Neem Kumar, came rashly  from Panthaghati side and hit another three vehicles, parked on the road side and ran away from the Spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Kumar, I/O PP Kasumpti.

3. A Cruelty to Woman case FIR No. 43/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli today i.e. 29.01.2015 U/S 498A IPC on the Complaint alleging therein that on 16.05.2012, she has solemnized marriage with Sh. Vinay S/O Sh. Krishan lal R/o Ladaur Ambala. After marriage her husband Vinay & his family members  tortured her mentally & physically for dowry. The case is being investigated by L/HC Sarita, I/O PS Dhalli.

4. An Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty & Rioting case FIR No. 35/15 is registered at PS West today 29.01.2015 U/S 353,332,147,148,149 IPC & 3 PDP Act on the statement of ASI  Sarvind Rattan, A/P MTO, Police Line Kaithu, Shimla alleging therein that today he alongwith staff were on law & order duty at outside the BJP, HP office at Chakkar Shimla. At the same time activists of Youth Congress Morcha, HP and Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha, HP were pelting stones & sticks on each other. When police tried to disburse them, in between some unknown person has throw the stones towards them, in which he & Const. Mohit sustained injuries and also they broken the front glass of Police vehicle No. HP-07B-0326.  The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Lal, I/O PS West.

5. A Rioting case FIR No. 36/15 is registered at  PS West today i.e. 29.01.2015 U/S 147,148,149,323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Dharam Dutt R/o Village Baun, PO Shoghi, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla A/P Secretary, Youth Congress Morcha, HP alleging therein that today workers of Youth Congress Morcha, HP have staged peacefully Dharna/Demonstration outside the BJP, HP office at Chakkar Shimla. At the same time activists, of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha, HP pelting stone and attacked with sticks on them. In this incident he and another workers of Y.C. Morcha sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.

6. A House Trespass & Rioting case FIR No. 37/15 is registered at PS West today i.e. 29.01.2015 U/S 452,147,148,149,323,427 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Trilok Jamwal, State Secretary of BJP, HP alleging therein that today he was participating in the meeting of BJYM, HP at Party office Chakkar Shimla. At the same time, activists of Youth Congress Morcha, HP  under the leadership of Sh. Vikramaditya came outside their party office with rods and entered in their office. They have pelting stone & attacked with sticks on their workers. In this incident, about 20/25 workers of BJYM sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh, I/O PS West.

7. During last 24 hours Total 128 vehicles challaned by Shimla police under MV Act and 09 challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded= 53 and Fine realized Rs. 14,800/-.

Follow-Up

1. Accused Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Deep Ram R/O VPO Dharogra, Tehsil Sunni, Distt Shimla, HP, has been arrested in Case FIR NO. 05/15 Dt. 26.01.2015 U/ S 457, 380 IPC PS East, bailed by the Trial Court.

2. Accused Chiranji Lal S/o Sh. Naku Ram R/o Village Paat Devri, PO Kashapat, Tehsil & PS Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 50 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 17/15 Dt. 23.01.15 U/S 376 IPC at PS Rampur, today sent to Judicial Remand upto 11.02.2015.
