Crime Report 03 January, 2014

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 02/15 is registered at PS Jhakri today i.e. on 03.01.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Tara Singh Negi, SHO PS Jhakri stated in that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling at Bus Stand Jhakri. At about 10-45 AM, on the secret information, he searched the Rehri ¼jsM+h½ of Maya Lama W/o Sh. Dinesh Lopchan R/o Nirmal Basti, Distt. Parsa, Nepal A/P Hawkers at Bus Stand Jhakri and recovered 07 bottles of illicit liquors from her possession. The case is being investigated by SI Tara Singh Negi, SHO PS Jhakri.

2. An Assault or criminal force with intent to dishonor person case FIR No. 08/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 02.01.2015 U/S. 341, 323, 355 IPC  on the application of Smt. Meera Devi D/O Sh. Mukesh R/O Village & PO Bhutti, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.01.2015, Smt. Promila W/O Sh. Mohan, Ramesh & Rajnu obstructed her way, beaten her and cut her hairs.  The case is being investigated by I/C PP Nankhari.

3. A Forest Act case FIR No. 03/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.01.2015 U/S 379 IPC & 41,42 IF Act on the application of Sh. Sita Ram Sharma, A/P Forest Range Officer, Balsan Deha alleging therein that during inspection on 26,27 & 28.12.2014, it is found that some unknown person has illegally  cut the 23 Devdar & 21 Kail trees from Ghoond beat. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil, I/O PS Theog.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 01/15 is registered at PS Jhakri today i.e. on 03.01.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kamlesh S/O Sh. Kaul Ram R/O Village Gaura, PO Dhargaura, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 02-01-2015 at about 11:45 PM he & five persons Namely Sandeep ,Neenju Ram,Chet Ram & Jagat Ram were coming to Gaura from Mashnoo in the vehicle No HP-06A-5883 (Alto Car). At about 12:15AM when they reached at Maghara, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of driver Aagya Ram S/O Sh. Sohan Lal R/O Kashapat PO Kandi, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla. In this accident all persons  sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

5. During last 24 hours Total 122 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan compounded= 58 and the fine realized Rs. 26,700/-

1. Accused Arjun Singh @ Arun Kumar S/o Sh. Tulsi Ram R/o Ward No. 5, Village & PO Saihal, Tehsil & PS Baijnath, Distt. Kangra  arreseted in case FIR No. 126/14 Dt. 21.09.14 U/S 376, 420 IPC at PS Sadar is further on police remand upto04.01.2015
