Crime Report 07 January, 2014

1. A Grievous hurt case FIR No. 03/15 has been registered at PS Suni u/s 341,323,325 IPC on 06-01-2015  on the statement of Sh. Balak Ram Dogra S/o Khiru Ram R/o Makkarcha PO. Chaba Tehsil Suni Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 07-12-2014 Mast Ram beaten him with stick at Chabha Bazar and he sustained injuries. He went to CHC Suni for treatment where MO referred him for IGMC Shimla. On 06.01.2015, final opinion has been received from CHC Sunni on his MLC, MO has given a grievous injury to him. The case is being investigated by HC Hem Raj I/O PS Sunni.

2. A House Trespass case FIR No. 02/15 has been registered at PS Chopal on 06.01.2015 U/S 451 323 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kuldeep Gupta S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Ward No. 1, Nagar Panchayat, Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is running a shop at Chopal Bazar. On 06.01.2015 at about 08-15 PM, one person namely Piyush alongwith three persons came in his shop and beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh, I/O PS Chopal.  

3. Assault to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 05/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 06.01.2015 U/S 353 IPC & 3 PDP Act on the complaint of Sh. Sunder Mohan Negi S/O Sh. Vidya Chander Negi R/o Village Rarang, Tehsil Murang, Distt. Kinnaur stated therein that he is working as driver in HRTC Deptt. On 06.01.2015, he was on duty in Bus No. HP-25A-1658 (HRTC) on the route from Ribba to Chandigarh. When he reached near Sandhu, one vehicle No. HP-25A-4260 came in wrong direction. He stopped his bus and asked about the cause of wrong driving to the driver of above vehicle. On this, driver of above vehicle scuffle with him during duty and broken the door glass of driver side window. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal I/O PS Theog.

4. An Accident case FIR No 09/15 has been registered today i.e. on 07.01.2015 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Aman S/O Virender Sharma R/o Village & PO Khaneri,  Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 06.01.2015 he was coming towards Bhadrash from Sainj along with Bijuli @ Vishnu in Tipper No HP63A-2294. When they reached near Machhada Khad at Bhadrash,  driver Bijuli lost his control and above Tipper rolled down from the road. In this accident, driver Bijuli died on the spot and he sustain injuries. The Case is being investigated by HC Lal Chand, I/O PS Rampur.

5. A criminal breach of trust case FIR No. 08/15 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 07.01.2015 U/S 406 IPC on the application of Sh. Ashwani Thakur, A/P Director Good Media News Pvt. Ltd. Bridge View Regency, The Mall Shimla alleging therein that he has given 168 Set top boxes cost amounting Rs. 10,000/- to Sunil Kumar Thakur S/o Sh. Tulsi Ram Thakur R/o Village Kaflaid, PO Shaal Chanog, Shimla to fix in the cable line at Jhathia Devi, Rampur, Badehari & Jubbar Hatti. But he has never returned his above set Top Boxes, nor given the fare to him and used above Set Top Boxes dishonestly in self interest. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jatough.

6. During last 24 hours Total 139 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan compounded= 74 and the fine realized Rs. 37,700/-

   INQUEST ENQUIRY  U/S 174 CrPC

1. Deceased Rajeev Kumar Mittal S/o Jagdev Kumar R/o Kathuana, Tehsil Baddi, Distt. Solan A/P House No. 61, House Board, Phase-1, Baddi, Solan, age 42 Years alongwith his family & friends have came to visit Shimla and stay at Room No. 102 in MLA Hostel Shimla. In the morning, he found unconscious in the room and taken to IGMC Shimla for treatment, where doctor declared him brought dead.

FOLLOW-UP

1. Accused Vikas Verma S/O Sh. Mast Ram Verma R/O Village Kawkli, PO- Kayara-Kandru, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla & Yog Raj  @ Kaku S/O Sh. Kuldeep Singh  R/O Village Shakrori, PO Chabba, Tehsil Sunni, Distt Shimla have been arrested in case FIR No. 65/14 Dt. 19.12.14 U/S 279,302,201,34 IPC PS Sunni, are sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

2. Three accused namely Om Prakash S/o Sh. Birbal Singh R/o Village Samej, PO Sugah, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age- 30 years, Shishu Pal S/O Late Sh. Ram Khilawan R/o Village Bishla, PO Dhar Goura, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, Age 23 Year and Tara Chand S/O Late Sh. Rattan Dass R/o Village Kharkag, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla have been arrested in case FIR No. 04/15 Dt. 04.01.15 U/S 379, 34 IPC at PS Jhakri, bailed by the Trial Court.

3. Accused Nitish Sharma S/O Sh. Kirshama Nand Sharma R/o  Village Runkali PO- Sandu Tehsil- Theog, District Shimla arrested in Case FIR No. 05/15 Dt. 06.01.2015 U/S 353 IPC & 3 PDP Act PS Theog, bailed by the Trial Court.
