CRIME REPORT 31 MARCH

1.      A case under Excise Act FIR No 60/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Ssimla on the Report of ASI Paramjeet Singh I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 12.45 PM during patrolling duty he recovered 11 Bottle english wine from the possession of Khaginder Sharma s/o Sh Om Nath Sharma R/O Khali Dhar Tutu Simla at near C.TO Building The Mall Shimla.

2.      A case under excuse act FIR No 61/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at  P.S Sadar Shimla on the Report of HC Puran Chand No 128 I/O PS Sadar Simla alleging there in that during patrolling duty he recovered 5 Bottle English wine from the possession of Topgyal s/o Masang  Tasering R/O H.NO 10 Tibtian Colony below Old Bus Stand at Near Subzi Mandi Chowk Lower Bazar Simla.

3.      A case under Excise act Case FIR No 62/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Simla on the Rukka of ASI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 1.30 PM during patrolling duty he recovered 11 Bottles Green Label from possession of Dharam Dutt s/o Lt Sh Jiva Nand R/O Chari PO Jarol Tehsil and PS Sunder Nagar Distt Mandi near Gurudwara Cart Road Shimla.

4.      A case under excise act  FIR No 63/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Shimla on the Report of HC Anil Kumar No 163 I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 1.30  PM during patrolling duty he recovered 9 Bottle Royal Stag from the possession of Deepu Kumar s/o Sh Suresh Kumar R/O Down Dale Phagli Road Simla near Mall Road Lift Shimla.

5.      A case under excise act FIR No 64/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Simla on the Report of HC Amar Dutt No 137 I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 2.55 PM during patrolling duty he recovered 6 Bottle English wine from the possession of Om Chand S/O Sh Shiv Ram R/O Chir Jhajer PO Geyan Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi near Scandel Point

6.      A case fir No. 31/13 dt. 30-3-13 u/s 427, 506, 34 ipc has been registered on the application of Surender S/O Ramanand R/O Nala Raksha Tehsil Theog & Virender S/O Kirpa Ram R/O Raksha Nala Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla alliging therein that Beli Ram S/O Lt. Sh. Tota Ram, Babita Sharma W/O Beli Ram, Dhani Ram S/O Lt. Tota Ram, Smt. Vidya Devi W/O Dhani Ram Both R/O Raksha Nala Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla entered their fields and caused damage to their crops. They also threatened them with dire consequences. The  case is being investigated by asi Babu Ram i/c pp Deha.

7.      During last 24 hours, 159 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 16 persons were challaned under COTPA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under M.V. Act and COTPA is Rs. 26,200/-.
