CRIME REPORT 22 MAR

1.            An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 25/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 21-03-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Vishal Kumar S/o Sh. Hira Singh R/o Lower Vikas Nagar, Om Niwas, Shimla, alleging therein that on 21-03-13 at 9.30 PM when he was come from Karla Agency to Chhota Shimla near Laxmi Naryan temple one vehicle hit him and run away from the spot. Case is being investigated by ASI Sehdev.

2.            A 3PDP Act case FIR No. 23/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 21-03-13 that on the complaint of Inder Singh Kamal I/c Patwari Dharech, alleging therein that he has doubt that during the intervrning night of 17/18-03-13 one person named Rajesh S/o Devi Chand R/o Vill Toon, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla has broken the window of Patwr Lawn. Case is being investigated by ASI Kaman Nain I/C PP Fagu.

3.            A RIOTING case FIR No. 44/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 21-03-13 U/S 147, 148, 149 IPC on the statement of Sh. Babu Ram S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Vill Kateyan Majhyar, PO Satlai, Teh Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 21-03-13 at 10:00 AM when his son Karam Singh, Sher Singh & Diwan Singh were working at their field, persons namely Jagdish Kumar, Haribal, Hari Chand, Sanjay Kumar  and Chet Ram all R/o Vill Kataiyan Majhyar, PO Satlai, Teh & Distt Shimla came there beat them. In this incident Diwan Singh sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by HC Prem Singh I/O PP Junga.

4.            A RIOTING case FIR No. 45/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 21-03-13 U/S 147, 148, 149 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagidh Kumar S/o Sh. Bishan Dass R/o Vill Kateyan Majhyar, PO Satlai, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 21-03-13 at 10:00 AM when his nephew Vinod Kumar install water pipe in the field persons namely Babu Ram, Sher Singh, Karam Singh, Diwan Singh, Ratti Ram, Pratap Singh all R/o Vill Kataiyan Majhyar, PO Satlai, Teh & Distt Shimla stop him to install water pipe and beat him. Due to this he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by HC Prem Singh I/O PP Junga.

5.            During last 24 hours, 163 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 02 persons were challaned under COPTA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005) and 04 were challaned under Mining Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under m.v. Act and COTPA is Rs. 28,600/.

6.            Two accused namely Ram Bahadur S/o Lal Bahadur R/o Mushikot Desi Bato, PO Paryale, PS Panchale, Distt Jajjarkot, Anchal Bheri, Nepal and Kali Bahadur S/o Hari Bahadur R/o Bhotkule, PO Paryale, PS Panchale, Distt Jajjarkot, Anchal Bhari, Nepal have been arrested in connection with case FIR No. 11/13 under Telegraph Act.
