CRIME REPORT 24 MAR

1.      A ND&PS case FIR No. 31/13 is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 24-03-13 on the report of HC Ram Sain I/O PS Kumarsain that today on 24-03-13 at 05:15 AM during nakka duty at Kingal along with staff he recovered 1 Kg Chars from the illegal possession of one person named Prem Parkesh Sharma S/o Sh. Jiva Nath R/o Vill Daran, Ward No. 4, PO Inrawa, Distt Sunsari, Nepal.
2.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 49/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 24-03-13 U/S 279,  337 IPC on the statement of Pardeep Sharma S/o Jagdish Chand R/o Vill Malogarh, Teh Jandhuta, Distt Bilaspur, alleging therein that on when he was going to Shayam Nagar along  with Birbal Singh in vehicle Maruti Car No. HP-42-0225, which was driven by Roshan Lal. When they reach near Khanog Nala above driver lose the control and above vehicle fell down from the road. Due to this all three persons sustained injuries. Case is being   investigated by HC Uttam Chand I/o PP Nankhari.
3.      A BURGLARY case FIR No. 15/13 is registered at Police Station Rohru on 23-03-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Virender Thakur S/o Late Sh. Daya Chand R/o Vill Badholi, PO Sheel, Teh Rohru, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on during the intervening night of 22/23-03-12 some unknown person has stolen away 13 bags nut-bolts, 7 bundle PBC copper wire, 2 chain blocks from his shop at Sheelghat. Total cost of stolen property is Rs. 1,25,000/-. Case is being investigated by I/c PP tikker ASI Balraj.
4.      A THEFT case FIR No. 49/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 23-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Seema Negi W/o Late Sh. Gopal Krishan Negi R/o Shanti Kutir, Chhaker Shimla, alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away 1 Sony Handicam, 2 Mobile Nokia, one pair Diamond Tops, one nose pin gold, one Neelam Stone and 1 Titan Watch. Total cost of stolen property is Rs. 70,000/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath I/o PS West.
5.      During last 24 hours 187 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 10 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005) and 01 under Mining Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act & COPTA is Rs. 27,500/-.
