CRIME REPORT 19 MAR

1.        A TRESPASS case FIR No. 47/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 18-03-13 U/S 448 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sheel Malhotra Shop No. 2 Ridge. Shimla, alleging therein that one person namely Irish Grover broke up the lock of his above shop and illegally trespassed in his Shop. Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh I/o PS Sadar Shimla.

2.        A NEGLIGENT CONDUCT WITH RESPECT TO FIRE case FIR No. 46/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur 18-03-13 U/S 285 IPC on the statement of Dharam Chand S/o Late Sh. Thana Ram compressor operator at Gandhari Power Project Jogni alleging therein that on 09-03-13 during work at Seri Power House site and also drilling was going on. He switched off the compressor and went to the room. But in the next morning on 10-03-13 when he came on the site, he saw that the compressor has been totally burn due to mischief of fire by some unknown person. Case in being investigated by HC Mohan Joshi.

3.        During last 24 hours 112 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 07 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005) and two persons were challaned U/S 114(5) Police Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 15,500/-.
