1.      A case under Excise Act FIR No 60/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Ssimla on the Report of ASI Paramjeet Singh I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 12.45 PM during patrolling duty he recovered 11 Bottle english wine from the possession of Khaginder Sharma s/o Sh Om Nath Sharma R/O Khali Dhar Tutu Simla at near C.TO Building The Mall Shimla.

2.      A case under excuse act FIR No 61/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at  P.S Sadar Shimla on the Report of HC Puran Chand No 128 I/O PS Sadar Simla alleging there in that during patrolling duty he recovered 5 Bottle English wine from the possession of Topgyal s/o Masang  Tasering R/O H.NO 10 Tibtian Colony below Old Bus Stand at Near Subzi Mandi Chowk Lower Bazar Simla.

3.      A case under Excise act Case FIR No 62/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Simla on the Rukka of ASI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 1.30 PM during patrolling duty he recovered 11 Bottles Green Label from possession of Dharam Dutt s/o Lt Sh Jiva Nand R/O Chari PO Jarol Tehsil and PS Sunder Nagar Distt Mandi near Gurudwara Cart Road Shimla.

4.      A case under excise act  FIR No 63/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Shimla on the Report of HC Anil Kumar No 163 I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 1.30  PM during patrolling duty he recovered 9 Bottle Royal Stag from the possession of Deepu Kumar s/o Sh Suresh Kumar R/O Down Dale Phagli Road Simla near Mall Road Lift Shimla.

5.      A case under excise act FIR No 64/13 dated 31/3/13 u/s 61-1-14 Ex. Act has been registered at P.S Sadar Simla on the Report of HC Amar Dutt No 137 I/O PS Sadar alleging there in that on 31/3/13 at 2.55 PM during patrolling duty he recovered 6 Bottle English wine from the possession of Om Chand S/O Sh Shiv Ram R/O Chir Jhajer PO Geyan Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi near Scandel Point

6.      A case fir No. 31/13 dt. 30-3-13 u/s 427, 506, 34 ipc has been registered on the application of Surender S/O Ramanand R/O Nala Raksha Tehsil Theog & Virender S/O Kirpa Ram R/O Raksha Nala Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla alliging therein that Beli Ram S/O Lt. Sh. Tota Ram, Babita Sharma W/O Beli Ram, Dhani Ram S/O Lt. Tota Ram, Smt. Vidya Devi W/O Dhani Ram Both R/O Raksha Nala Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla entered their fields and caused damage to their crops. They also threatened them with dire consequences. The  case is being investigated by asi Babu Ram i/c pp Deha.

7.      During last 24 hours, 159 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 16 persons were challaned under COTPA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under M.V. Act and COTPA is Rs. 26,200/-.

RECOVERY OF STOLEN PROPERTY

1.      A Tata Sumo No HP01B-8269 stolen in case FIR No. 27/13 u/s 379 IPC from the jurisdiction of Police Station East, Shimla  has been recovered today from Manimazra.

4.      A Case FIR NO 16/13 Dated 30-03-13 u/s 411, 34 IPC is registered at Police Station Jhakri on the report of HC Suresh Kumar No. 141 I/O PS Jhakri alleging therein that during the intervening night of 29/30-03-2013, when HC Suresh Kumar No 141 was on Naka duty with staff, 20 Bundle of aluminum electric wire, 13 bags cut pieces of aluminum electric wire weight approximately 4 quintile and 20 pieces of rubber pipe were recovered from the possession of Truck Driver / owner Truck No HP25B-7185 Sh. Sonu Kumar S/O Sh laxman Dass village Dhaneta Tehsil and PS Nadaun Distt Kangra, Sonu Kumar s/o Late Sh Surender Kumar R/O Banne Teh Hatti Distt Kangra age 29 and Ravi S/O Shiv Charan  village and Tehsil Rajgarh Distt Churu Rajasthan age 27 A/P residing Kwari Shop Pottery Form Tapri Distt Kinnour. Investigation is being Conducted by HC Suresh Kumar No 141 I.O. PS Jhakri.

5.      On 30.03.2013 Sadar Police Shimla 11040 pouches of Kuber Khaini abd 1200 Panchhi Chhao fron the illegal possession of Sh Rakesh Kuar S/O Sh Satrohan House No. 7, Ram Bazar Shimla.  

6.       A Case FIR No 37/13 Dated 30-03-2013 u/s 20-61-85 of  ND&P.S Act is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on the Report of ASI Mohan Lal I/C PP Sainj alleging theirin that During Nakabandi & Traffic Checking Along With Staff   at NH22 Near Sainj ( Police Gate) about 11:23 AM,  2.5 Kg. Charas was recovered from vehicle No. HR-12R-3064 from The Possession OF 2 persons  Namely Sunil Kumar S/o Sh Dalpath Singh R/O &VP0 Sanplala Tehsil & P.S Sapala Distt Rothak Haryana Age = 24 Years, & Yogesh Kumar S/o Sh Tara Chand R/o Vill Sanpala Tehsil & P.S Saspala Distt Rothak Haryana Age = 33 Years . Both Accused's Arrested . Case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal I/C PP Sainj.

7.      A case FIR No. 56/13 Dated 29-03-2013 U/S 61-1-14 Ex. Act is registered at Police Station Rampur on the report of HC Mohan Joshi No. 1680 I/O PP Taklech that on 29-03-13, he alongwith staff were on patrolling near Seri Bridge and recovered 24 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Madan Rahi S/O Sh. Man Bahadur Vill. Shankua Sabha PS Varavishe Distt. Kantvari Odda No.2 Anchal Kosi Nepal A/P Labour, Pempa Contractor Kashapat Road. Case is being investigated by HC Mohan Joshi No. 1680 I/O PP Taklech.

8.      A Case FIR No. 57/13 Dated 29-03-13 U/S 61-1-14 Ex. Act is registered at PS Rampur on the report of HC Mohan Joshi No.1680 I/O PP Taklech that on 29-03-13, he alongwith staff were on patrolling near Charkupani and recovered 6 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Sh Dhani Ram S/O Sh. Lt. Kaul Ram Vill Raun PO Munish Bahali Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP. Case is being investigated by HC Mohan Joshi No.1680 I/O PP Taklech.

9.      A case FIR No 29/13 Dt 29-03-13 U/S 354-A, 506, 34 IPC is registered at Police Station Theog on the application of lady of vill Raksa nana po Deha tehsil Theog distt Shimla alleging therein that Surrender s/o Rama Nand , Virender s/o Kirpa Ram and KirpaRram s/o RaGho Ram misbehaved with her and threatened her with dire consequences. This case is being investigated by ASI Babu Ram I/C PP Deha.

10.  A case FIR No 30/13 Dt 29-03-13 U/S 452,354,506,323,34 IPC is registered on the Complaint of smt Kala Devi w/o Sita Ram R/o Panchdhar Thesil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 29-03-13 at about 2 PM, when she was alone at her home, Jeet Ram and Prem Singh entered her home and tried to outrage her modesty. They also threatened her with dire consequences.

11.   During last 24 hours, 158 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 09 persons were challaned under COTPA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). CRIME REPORT 29 MAR.

1.      A case FIR No. 28/13 dated 28.03.2013 u/s 18, 20, 22 ND & PS Act is registerted at Police Station East Shimla on the report of Dy. SP/SHO Navdeep that during patrolling/checking at Mehli on 28.03.2013 at about 6.00 PM, a Aulto Car No. HP52-3913 was checked and 9 strips of Nitro sun, 346 gms Poppy Straw and 2 gms charas was recovered from the possession of Gurpreet Singh s/o Dharam Singh village Kalta Niwas Mehli Kasumpti.  

2.      A case FIR No. 57/13 dated 29.03.2013 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on the report of HC Anil Kumar I/O PS Sadar that when he has proceeded for the search of a missing person, he recovered 12 bottles country liquor from the possession of Akash s/o Vijay Gill R/O 128. Labour Hostel Krishna Nagar Shimla.

3.      A case FIR No. 54/13 Dated 28-03-2013 U/S 353, 332 IPC is registered at Police Station Rampur on the application of Sh. Prem Singh S/O Sh. Jagar Singh Vill. Dhansha PO Khamadi S/T Nankhari A/P Conductor HRTC Tata Devi Depot Shimla HP alleging therein that on 25-03-13 he was deputed on Khamadi Shimla root for duty. When he reached near Gahan one person Rinku S/O Nikka Ram R/O Vill. Gahan S/T Nankhari Distt. Shimla, who was suiting in the bus was asked for ticket but Rinku refused to take the ticket and he beat the conductor and deterred him from discharging his duty. The Case is being investigated by ASI Hari Singh I/C PP Nankhari.

4.      A Case FIR No 36/13 Dated 29-03-2013 u/s 279, 341 IPC is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on the report of ASI Mohan Lal I/C PP Sainj stating therein that at 9.00 A.M when he was on patrolling duty along with staff at Bithal one vehicle No. HP25-0005 coming from Rampur side and another vehicle Maruti car No HP32D-0929 which was also coming from Rampur and tried to overtake vechcle No. HP25-0005 obstructed the VIP (Smt. Pratibha Singh) movement. The case is being investigating by ASI Mohan Lal I/C PP SAINJ.

CRIME REPORT 28 MARCH

 

1. A case under excise act is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on  28-03-2013 U/S 61-1-14 Excise  Act on the report of ASI Mohan Lal that during patrolling near Khakher Nala 51 boxes of country liquor and 3 boxes of English Liquor  were recovered from a vehicle No HP-66- 3095  from the possession of  Sh,  Puran Chand S/O Sh Parkesh r/o village kaldale Post Office Kanda Gai Tehsil and PS Anni and wine owner Ranveer Singh s/o Sh Surat Singh Negi R/O Village Hoa PO Dalash tehsil and PS Anni Distt Kullu. Both accused persons have been arrested. This case is being investigated by ASI  Mohan Lal I/O CP Sainj.
2. A vehicle accident case is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on  28-03-2013 U/S 279,337,201, 427 IPC on the statement of  Sh. Ramesh Chand S/O Lt Sh Sher Singh R/O Village Chlahrag tehsil and PS Joginder Nager distt Mandi he stated that he is the driver of  a Tempo No. HP63C- 1039 . On 27-03-2013 evening. when he was going to Shimla from Bithal  and reached near Kanchi mode Narkanda, one truck No HR 68 -7594 Coming from opposite side hit his tempo  and the truck rolled down on the road. This accident took place  due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of the truck driver.  This case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand I/O CP Sainj.
3. A Vehicle THEFT case is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 27.03.2013 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pankaj s/o Sh. Tara Chand vill. Kufri dhar PO. Ghanahatti tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 26.3.2013, he parked his motor cycle HP 52A-2475 Hero Honda in front of Vinay General Store Kufri Dhar. On 27.03.2013. when he reached at kufri Dhar, he found his motor cycle missing from the place of parking.
4. A vehicle ACCIDENT case is registered at Police Station West Shimla  U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Saravjeet S/O Sh. Balwant Singh R/o near Hawaghar Block No. 7 quarter No. 20 Police Line Kaithu Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 27-03-13 at around 7-15 pm, when he and his friends were walking on road towards Gol-Pahari, they saw a car HP-63-1221 alto rolling down towards police line kaithu. 7 persons namely Ramesh , Ajay ,Dinesh , Sonu, Hukam Chand and Rohit were sitting in that car and all of them sustained injuries.
5. A vehicle theft case is registered at Police Station East FIR No. 27/13 dated 27-03-13 u/s 379 ipc on the complaint of Mr. Rakesh Kumar S/O Ram Lok R/O Chaleeli Po Nova Tehsil Sada Bilaspur that he parked is vehicle No. hp 01 b -0239 tata sumo chesis no. 4181017huz938186,engine no.483d147huz723072 near shiv mandir kasumpti on 26-03-13 and some unknown person  stole the above vehicle.
6. During last 24 hours, 170 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 12 persons were challaned under COTPA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under M.V. Act and COTPA is Rs. 29,400/-.
7. One person Namely Budhi Singh was arrested u/s 107/151 Cr. P.C. by Kumarsain Police who will be produced before the ld. Court within 24 housrs.

1. A BURGLARY case FIR No. 55/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 26-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the statement of Smt. Sarita Devi W/o Sh. Amar Nath R/o Chandel Bhawan, 2PO Bharari, Shimla, alleging therein that on 26-03-13 at 8:30 AM when she came from market she found that some unknown person has stolen away 2 pair tops gold, 1 mangal sutra gold and cash Rs. 10,000/-from her house. Case is being investigated by ASI Paramjeet Saini I/o PS Sadar Shimla.
2. A TRESPASS case FIR No. 56/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 26-03-13 U/S 448, 379, 427, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naveen Kumar S/o R S Kaushik R/o May Villa, Cart Road, Shimla, alleging therein that he is running a Tour & Travel agency at Middle Bazar Shimla. According to an agreement with Paramjeet Singh, he pay monthly rent for the half portion of his shop. On 07-03-13 Sh. Paramjeet Singh and his wife Smt. Ruby entered in his shop and destroyed the furniture & relevant documents. Case is being investigated by HC Vinod I/o PS Sadar Shimla.

3.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT  case FIR No. 20/13 is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 27-03-13 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Khayali Ram S/o Sh. Devi Ram R/o Vill Thawla, PO Irra, Nerwa, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 26-03-13 persons namely Bhopinder Singh, Sandeep S/o Sh. Mas6t Ram, Kanwer Singh S/o Rutal, Mast Ram S/o Sh. Daliya all R/o VPO Gian, Nerwa, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, wrongfully restrained and beat him at Rula Nala near Ashlah. Case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar I/o PS Nerwa.

4.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 48/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 26-03-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Maninder Thakur S/o Late Sh. Sewak Ram R/o Vill Chamyana, PO Kamla Nagar, Sanjaili, Shimla, alleging therein that on 22-03-13 when he was going to his home along with Ashwani Verma in his vehicle, near Hill Grove Public School Bhattkuffer he saw one injured person on the road in unconscious condition, they informed his wife telephonically and took him in his vehicle to IGMC. They identify the injured person namely as Lalit Parkash R/o Shandil Niwas near Hill Grove Public School, Bhattakuffer. He has doubt some unknown vehicle hit him. Case is being investigated by HC Puran I/o PS Dhalli.

5.      During last 24 hours 241 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 06 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act & COPTA is Rs. 34,500/-.

1.      A HURT case FIR No. 25/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 25-03-13 U/S 325, 323, 34 IPC on the report of Sh. Hem Chand S/o SH. Dhani Ram R/o Vill Baloh Ghatti, PO Kelwi, Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 24-3-13 at 4:00 PM when he was working in his field then Sita Ram & His wife Sheela Devi came & beat him with stone. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/c PP Matyana.

2.      A BURGLARY case FIR No. 47/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 25-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Bhim Singh Chauhan S/o Late Sh. Hari Singh Chauhan R/o Chauhan Niwas near Civil Supply Store, Bhattakuffer, Sanjauli, Shimla, alleging therein that on 25-03-13 his wife informed him that some unknown person has stolen away 1 pair rings gold, 1 pair tops gold, one pair ear rings gold, 1 teek gold, 1 pair ear rings gold & cash Rs. 21000/-. Total approximate value of stolen items is Rs.84000/-. Case is being investigated by ASI Ajit Singh I/O PS Dhalli.

3.      A BURGLARY case FIR No. 50/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 25-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pardeep Kaundal S/o Late Sh. Bansi Ram R/o Pooja Niwas, Vill Chamrog, PO Taradevi, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 25-03-13 at 9:00 AM when he and his wife reached at home after duty they found that some unknown person has stolen away 1 pair ear rings gold, 1 mangal sutra gold, 2 gold bangles, 1 finger ring gold, gold set and cash Rs. 28000/- from his house. Total value of stolen property is Rs. 378000/-. Cae is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram I/o PS west.

4.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 53/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 26-03-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Yog Raj S/o Sh. Partap Singh R/o Vill Chabri, PO Dhanwali, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 25-03-13 one vehicle tipper No. HP-06A-3564 fell down from the road near Addu Nala. In the above accident persons namely Yog Raj, Sanjay Jishtu sustained injuries. Case in being investigated by ASI Hari Singh I/C PP Nankhari.

5.      An ASSAULT ON PUBLIC SERVANT case FIR No. 8/13 is registered at Police Station Chirgaon on 26-03-13 U/S 353, 332 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dev Raj S/o Sh. Bhajat Chand Secretary GP Jangla, Teh Chirgaon, alleging therein that on 25-03-13 2^nd wife of Pittu Ram S/o Kala Ram R/o Vill Nandla, Teh Chirgaon, Birma Devi came to his office and took a copy of family register, on this above Pittu Ram and his wife Smt. Kamla Devi both R/o Vill Nandla, Teh Chirgaon beat him at market Jangla. Case is being investigated by I/o HC Balvir Singh.

CRIME REPORT 25 MAR

1.      A THEFT case FIR No. 16/13 is registered at Police Station Jubbal on 24-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Dharam Singh JE HPSEB Khara Pathar, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 23/24-03-13 some unknown person has stolen away the copper wire from transformer at Odi near Khara Pathar. Total value of stolen property is Rs. 45000/-. case is being investigated by ASI I/o Raj Kumar PS Jubbal.

2.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 52/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 25-03-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Mani Ram S/o Sh. Kitab Singh R/o Vill Barshol, PO Taklech, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 24-03-13 when he was coming from Kuki to Taklech in vehicle B/camper No. HP-06A-2407 along with Ram Krishan, Geet Ram, Bhai Devi, when they reached near Charku Pani, Taklech above vehicle met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving by driver  Chet Ram R/o Khincha (Seri Majhali), Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla. In to this accident Geet Ram and Bhai Devi died on the spot and other sustained injuries. Case in being investigated by HC Mohan Joshi I/O PP Taklech.

3.      An ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 53/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 24-03-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Pritam Singh S/o Sh. Ami Chand R/o Vill Loder, PO Ropri, Teh Barsar, Distt Hamirpur, alleging therein that on 24-03-13 at 11:30 AM when he was at old I.S.B.T one vehicle Car Number not known hit him and ran away from the spot, due to which he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by HC bala Ram I/o PS Sadar Shimla.

4.      A CHEATING case FIR No. 54/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 24-03-13 U/S 420, 120B IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Daya Ram Gurukul Public School Diggal, VPO Diggal, Teh Nalagarh, Distt Solan, alleging therein that persons namely Rajeev Kumar R/o Chandi, Solan, and Vishal Bhardwaj demand Rs. 2 Lakh to allot him the NIOS Exam Centre. He deposit Rs. 50,000/- on 29-12-11 vide PNB check No. 691195 and Rs. 75000/- on 09-01-12 vide check No. 691482 and remaining amount paid by cash. During inquiry from NIOS office Chandigarh he found that, there is not any allotment related to him. Case is being investigated by ASI Paramjeet I/o PS Sadar Shimla.

5.      During last 24 hours, 270 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 19 persons were challaned under COPTA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under m.v. Act and COTPA is Rs. 56,300/-.

CRIME REPORT 24 MAR

1.      A ND&PS case FIR No. 31/13 is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 24-03-13 on the report of HC Ram Sain I/O PS Kumarsain that today on 24-03-13 at 05:15 AM during nakka duty at Kingal along with staff he recovered 1 Kg Chars from the illegal possession of one person named Prem Parkesh Sharma S/o Sh. Jiva Nath R/o Vill Daran, Ward No. 4, PO Inrawa, Distt Sunsari, Nepal.

Madan Singh R/o VPO Bhelan, Teh Pachad, Distt Sirmour alleging therein that on 16-03-13 at 3:30 PM when he reached at Ghanahatti near B. Ed Collage. After some time one girl Tanu and Vijay reached there in Alto car and he sit with them in above car and start talking to them. Suddenly Vijay came out of the car and attacked him with Iron rode, due to this he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by SI Harish I/C PP Jutogh.

Thana Ram compressor operator at Gandhari Power Project Jogni alleging therein that on 09-03-13 during work at Seri Power House site and also drilling was going on. He switched off the compressor and went to the room. But in the next morning on 10-03-13 when he came on the site, he saw that the compressor has been totally burn due to mischief of fire by some unknown person. 5.      A CHEATING case FIR No. 44/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 16-03-13 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mohan Lal (Patwari) R/o N. R. Verma Niwas, Mashobra, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that there are 30 seats of T-Maits on the basis of handicapped quota in HPSEBL Shimla. His son Lokinder Singh was a participant in this recruitment, but his son could not be selected. As per the information under RTI Act a person namely Kashmir Singh S/o Sh. Raghuvir Singh R/o Vill Panoh, PO Chouri, Teh Sujanpur Tihra, Distt Hamirpur has been selected, he got 3.45+1+5+2=11.45 marks, but selection committee gave him 12.45 marks illegally. Case is being investigated by SI Kulbant Singh I/o PS West.

6.      A MISSING REPORT is lodged at Police Station East Shimla on 17-03-13 that on the complaint of Mr. Ram Parkash S/o Sh. Deena Nath R/o Summer Lead, Brockhurst, Shimla, alleging therein that on 16-03-13 his daughter named Gyatri went somewhere without intimation.

7.      On 16-03-13 Sh. Maan Singh S/o Late Sh. Pyari Ram R/o Bindal (Shekhal), Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla reported at PP S/nagar that on 16-03-13 at about 7:30-7:45 AM his daughter Kumari Kamini fell down in the Pubbar River, while she was crossing the river at Chamshu on Jhula(Rope Way). She could not traced out despite all efforts. Her description is as under- Name Kumari Kamini D/o Sh. Maan Singh R/o VPO Bindal, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla, age 19 years, hight 5', whitish complexion, round face, cut mark under lower lips, wearing blue jeans, white sweater and shirt, sports shoes, long hair. Till now her search is continued, but still not found.

Rajinder Singh 2^nd IR Bn Sakoh, D/sala posted at prison duty, Kanda Jail that on 15-03-13 when he was on prison duty along with Ct. Naveen at FTC Shimla, after the peshi accused Ravi Kumar S/o Sh. Dipu Kumar R/o Vill Bharjurah, PS Anoop Shahar Distt Buland Shehar UP try to ran away from the police custody near Chiyali, but after some time above accused captured by the police persons.

2.        On 15-03-13 Sh. Raj pal S/o Sh. Bhagat Singh R/o VPO Darkali, Tes Rampur telephonically informed to PP Taklech that his brother named Chander Singh aged 30 yrs along with Sh. Jyoti Lal was coming back home from Kashapat, when they reached near Dogri Khud he slipped and fell down 150 ft. into a gorge and died on the spot.

3.        During last 24 hours 127 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules & no one person was challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 22,800/-.

CRIME REPORT 15 MAR.

 

Arrest of accused and recovery of case property:

 

1.      On 15.03.2013. accused Kamal Kumar S/o Sh. Balvinder  Singh, R/o Village Haratyanger, P.O. Dangar, Teh Ghumarwin, District Bilaspur  has been re-arrested by PSI Babu Ram and ASI MAnohar Lal from Bhota, District Hamirpur in case FIR No. 7/13 dated 07.01.2013, U/S 382,380 IPC registered at Police Station Dhalli alongwith one Nek Bahadur Goldsmith, main Market Baldwara and stolen property one Nikon camera, gold pandle and gold ear pins were recovered from them. The above accused had managed to escape from police custody on 21.01.2013 at Manimajra when he was being taken towards Amritsar and Jirakpur in connection with the investigation of above case and consequently a case FIR No. 33/13 U/S 224 IPC was also registered at Police Station Manimajra against the above accused.

2.      Accused Dhyan Singh S/O Suba Ram VPO Bali Tehsil Shillai, District Sirmour has been arrested in case FIR No. 39/13 u/s 457, 380 IPC Police Station West, Shimla and stolen property of Rs. 4.5 lakh has been recovered from him.

3.      A case under ND&PS Act is registered at Police Station Rohru on 14-03-2013 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS ACT 92 bottles of contraband drugs were recovered from the possession of Ankit Chauhan S/O Sh. Amar Singh R/O Village Gujandli Po Tikkar Teshil Rohru Distt. Shimla Hp At Thanakainchi. Tehsil Rohru.

4.      A vehicle accident case is registered at Police Station Rohru on 14-03-13 u/s 279, 337 ipc on the report of I/C PP City Rohru that on 14-03-13 at 7-00 pm,  Vinod Kumar S/O Kushi Ram R/O Mehra Tehsil Rohru was going to Rohru to his home Mehra in Maruti car No. hp10-a-3792 and when they reached  Shikripul above car met with an accident and he sustained injuries. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Vinod Kumar.

5.      A Burglary Case  is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 15-03-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC has on the statement of Sh. Santosh Kumar S/O Sh Bakshi Ram R/O Flat No -6 block No-III H.B Colony Sanjauli Shimla -6 alleging therein that he is MD in Distt. Hospital Hamirpur & had his own Flat in Housing Board Colony Sanjauli Shimla. On 14-3-13 he was telephonically informed by his neighbour Anuj that attempts to break the locks of his house were made. On reaching his house he found that the windows of the flat were broken and CD Player & DVD player & a sound system were found stolen by someone. Total value of stolen property is Rs 25,000/- approximately.  

6.      A vehicle accident case is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 14/03/2013 u/s 279, 337 ipc on the statement of Sh Dharma Ram S/O Sh Jaiyan Ram Vill Kyar Po Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla stating therein that in the evening of 14^th March, he was going alongwith his relatives to village Palo in a vehicle Tata Sumo No. hp 08a 0343. When the vehicle reached near Shamtha, it met with an accident in which 17 persons were injured. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by driver Surat Ram R/O Vill Bharton Tehsil Chopal. 

7.      A vehicle accident case is registered at Police Station East on 14-03-2013 on the statement of Sh. Pardeep Sharma S/O Parkash Chand R/O Lagval kuteer Malyana Shimla stating therein that on 14-03-13, when he was going from Mehli to Malyana with his friends in vehicle No. HP52A-1910, A tipper No. HP63-6979 coming from opposite side hit his vehicle.

 

Unidentified dead body:

8.      On 12.03.2013 at about 12.30 PM, M.C. PP Luhri, District Kullu telephonically informed Police Post Sainj, District Shimla that an unidentified dead body is laying near Luhri Bridge. On this information Police visited the spot and found a dead body near Luhri Bridge in the water. The dead body was taken to CHC Kumarsain and was kept there in dead house for identification and information and description of deceased was also flashed to all Police Stations/Police Posts of Shimla District. The Height of deceased is 5'5'' who is wearing red T-shirt. The postmortem of deceased has been conducted on 13.03.2013 and is kept in the dead house of IGMC for identification.

CRIME REPORT 14 MAR.

1.    A case under Telegraph act is registered at Police Station Sadar on 13.03.2013 u/s 25 Indian Telegraph  Act & 379 IPC  on the online complaint of Sh. Vikram Sood, JTO (N) CPO Building, The Mall Shimla alleging therein that during the intervening night of 10/11.03.2013, some unknown persons stole 20 pairs Cable measuring approximately 100 mtrs. from the working line  between ladies Park and Jodha Niwas.  The approximate cost of stolen cable is Rs. 4000/-

2.      During last 24 hours, 141 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of traffic rules. 05 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2005). CRIME REPORT 13 MAR.

1.      A case under ND&PS Act is registered at Police Station Jubbal on 13/03/13 on that on 13/03/13 during Nakabandi at Dhanku Dhank Near Sanail Tehsil Jubbal, 11Kg. 50 Grams Charas was recovered from Surat Singh S/O Sh. Inder Singh Caste Rajput R/O Vill. Ramdara PO Thangar Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla.   

2.      A case of unlawful restraint is registered at Police Station Rampur on 12-03-2013 U/S 341,323,34 on the statement of Aagya Ram S/o Sh. Sohan Lal Vill. Kasha PO Kashapat Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 11-03-2013, he alongwith Gokal Ram and Nand Lal was going to his sister's home Kajotidhar, At about 8.30 pm, Prakash Chand ,Dev Raj, Visheshar and Ashok Kumar unlawfully restrained them and beaten them.

3.      A case of negligent act is registered at Police Station Rampur on 12-03-2013 U/S 336, 337 IPC on the statement of Farukh Shekh S/O Abdul Rasid R/O Ward No. 3 Rampur Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that he is the owner of Auto No. HP50-0663. On 12-03-13 at about 1.30 pm, he was going to Racholi in his Auto and was crossing a Tipper No. HP 51B-0848, in the  mean time the driver of the tipper tried to unload the sand and all of sudden the body of the Tipper fell upon the Auto. In this incident the auto driver sustained injuries. This accident took place  due to a negligent act done by the driver  of tipper Bhagwan Dass R/O Sanarsa PO Kartot Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP.

4.      A case of unlawful restraint is registered at Police Station Sadar on 12-3-2013 u/s 341,323,504,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sandeep Sharma S/O Sh.Madan Lal R/O Raghuwir Bhawan Kelti Simla alleging therein that on 11-3-2013 at about 6.30 PM, when he was coming after closing his shop and reached near Chapsle, his shop owner Smt. Reeta Sood along with her son and Raj Kumar unlawfully restrained  him and beat him. 

5.      A case of unlawful restraint is registered at Police Station Sadar on 12-3-2013 u/s 341,323,504,34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Reeta Sood W/O Sh. VK Sood R/O Hari Nikunj Chapsle Estate Lakar Bazar Simla alleging therein that on 11-3 -2013 at about 7.00 PM, Sandeep and his wife unlawfully restrained him near Chapslee and  abused her. 

6.      A vehicle THEFT case is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 13-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the report of Sh. Shyam Singh S/O Sh. Jeet Ram R/O Vill. Gawra P/O Kharadhatti Tehsil Arki Distt. Solan A/P Dhanda P/O Totu Shimla HP alleging therein that he is owner of vehicle No. HP-14C(T)-3331.  On 12-03-13 at about 8-00 P.M, he properly parked his vehicle near his quarter Dhanda Totu. On 13/03/13 when he checked his car he found it stolen from the spot.

7.      An attempt to murder case is registered at PS West on 13/03/2013 on the report of Sh. Rakesh alleging therein that on 12/3/2012 he and his friend Pankaj were coming from Chandigarh to Shimla on M/cycle No. HP 22A-3911. When they reached near Shoghi Pankaj attacked on him at neck with knife and ran away from the spot.

8.      A case of unlawful restraint is registered at Police Station Chopal on 12.03.2013 u/s 341,323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Naveen S/o Sh. Rajeshwar Kumar R/o Village Kasha, P.O. Bamta, Tehsil & P.S. Chopal District Shimla alleging  therein that on 12.03.2013 when he was at Chopal and going towards Sangam Bear Bar,  Rakesh @ Bitu Thakur S/o Sh. Surender Thakur R/o VPO Chopal unlawfully restrained him and beat him.

9.        During last 24 hours 220 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 01 person was challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 54600/-.

CRIME REPORT 12 MAR.

1.      A Burglary case is registered at Police Station West, Shimla on 11.03.2013 U/S 457,380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kishor Kumar s/o Sh. Puran Chand r/o Puran Cottage near Dargah Ghoura Chowki Shimla-5 H.P. alleging therein that on 11.03.2013 at around 8-30 am, someone has broken the door of Sh. Manoj Kumar's quarter and stole away some Gold, Silver ornaments  and other things from his quarter.

2.      On 11.03.2013, Pradhan G.P Baghi intimated Police Post Baghi that a dead body is laying at Nehari Nullaha. On this information police reached the spot and verified the facts. No injuries were found on the body of deceased and his name and address could not be verified. The deceased (Nepali) was seen in the area before two days in mental condition. The postmortem of deceased was conducted at CHC Kotkhai. Permission for his cremation is being sought from SDM  Theog.

1.      A Car No. HP-07-0080 was recovered from Shogi in case FIR No. 16/2013 Dated 26-02-2013 U/S 379 IPC registered at Police Station East, Shimla.

2.      A case under NDPS Act is registered at Police Station Dhallin on 110.3.13 U/S 22 of  ND&PS Act that on 11.03.13, during Naka at Sanjauli, 83 Shishiya of Rexcof, 2 empty bottles of Rexcof each 100ML, one packet Nitrosun -10 total 113 tablet, 6 Injuction of Zocin, one Dispovan syringe 2ML  were recovered from the possession of one Pratap Thakur S/O Lt. Sh. Sant Ram Thakur R/o Vill Ovana PO Pabo Tehsil & Distt Shimla.    

3.      A vehicle accident case is registered at Police Station Theog on 10/3/13 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohan Lal S/O Kanshi Ram Village Sheel PO Tiyali Tehsil Theog alleging therein that on 10/3/13, one Pick up no HP62A-0594 met with an accident near Sheegal Tiyali in which Prem Dutt S/O Amba Dutt Village Dalyin Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla sustained. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of vehicle.

4.      A case of unlawful restraint is registered at Police Station Rampur on 11-03-2013 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the application of Smt. Narkali W/O Sh. Gayari Ram Vill Nehra PO Bahali Tehsil Rampur Bsr. Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 11-03-2013, when she was going for milking her Cow, Tilak Raj, Sharif ,Rajkumari & Mangali Devi restrained her and beat her.
