Crime Report on Jan. 29, 2018

1.    An Excise Act case FIR No. 11/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 28-01-2018 u/s 39 HP Excise act on the rukka of  ASI Bir Singh I/O PS Jhakri alleging that on 28.01.2018 at about 03:06 PM when he alongwith staff was on partolling towards Sanarsa and reached at Rattanpur he intercepted one person namely Mast Ram S/O Sh. Devender Singh R/O Shanadhar PO Kartor Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP and recovered 15 bottles of country liquor UNA No.1 from his possession The case is being investigation by ASI Bir Singh I/O PS Jhakri.

2.    An Accident case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 28.01.18 u/s 279 IPC on the application of Sh. Sanjay Chauhan S/o Sh. Hari Dass  Chauhan R/o Village Gamsot PO Bonda Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 28.01.18 at about 3;30 PM he has parked his vehicle No. HP03(T)4242 inside the road at Gamsot at the same time one vehicle No. HP52(T) 2004 driven by Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Kamal Dass R/O Talara came rashly and negligently and hit his vehicle & damaged his vehicle. The case is being investigating by HC Ram Lal I/O PP Sarahan.

3.   A wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 28-01-2014 u/s 341,323,506,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o VIll Ghadewati PO Oddi Tehsil Kumarsain stated therein that on 28-01-2018 when he was going to home from Oddi at the same time Nikhil his brother Akhil and Phool Chand obstructed his way, beaten him with iron road and stick and threatened with dire consequences. In this incident he sustained injuries.

4.    A Forest Act case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Chopal dated 28.01.18 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the complaint of Sh. Purshotam Thakur R.F.O. Sarain. alleging therein that when he was on patrolling alongwith staff, he checked the store of Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh. Devi Singh R/O Vill. Thunth, PO and Tehsil Chopal and recovered 3325 litters illicit Cedar oil from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Rohit Kumar I/O PS Chopal.

5.    A Forest Act case FIR No.13/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 28.01.18 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the complaint of Sh. Purshotam Thakur R.F.O Sarain alleging therein that when he was on patrolling alongwith staff he checked the Garden of mast Ram S/O Lt. sh. Rellu Ram R/O Vill. Lingjar PO Sarain, Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla and recovered 6800 litter illicit Cedar oil from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender Kumar I/O PS Chopal.

6.    A Forest Act case FIR No.14/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 28.01.18 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the complaint of Purshotam Thakur R.F.O Sarain alleging therein that when he was on patrolling along with staff he checked the house of Ramesh Kumar S/O Lt. Sh. Rellu Ram R/O Vill. Lingjar PO Sarain, Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla and recovered 7200 litter illicit Cedar oil from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender Kumar I/O PS Chopal.

7.    A Theft case FIR No. 22/18 has been registered at PS West today on 29-01-2018 u/s 379,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gaurav Sharma S/o Late Sh. BM Sharma R/o Gian Niwas Airport road Totu Tehsil & Distt. Shimla contractor of under construction road of Shoghi-Mehli alleging therein that in the intervening night of 28/29-01-2018 three persons namely Raghubir Singh, Randeep Singh and Ram Singh stolen the diesel from their vehicle and machine  parked in the store established at village Patiyud. The accused has been arrested and case is being investigated by HC Kiran Kumar I.O. PS West.

8.    A Fire Incident case FIR No. 23/18 has been registered at PS West today on 29-01-2018 u/s 435 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Lalit Kumar S/o Sh. Asis Ram R/o Vill Vashil PO Mamlil Tehsil Kandaghat Distt. Solan alleging therein that the driver of his Vehicle(Innova) No. HP64A-4715 has parked his vehicle near Sankat Monchen Shimla and handed over the key to him. After that complainant  had gone to PGI, Chandigarh for his treatment. Subsequently when he return back from PGI, Chandigarh he asked his friends to brought the vehicle from Sankat Mochen where they found the car in burnt condition. The case is being investigated by HC Chander Shekhar I.O PS West.    

9.      A Negligent conduct with respect to fire case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 29-01-2018 u/s 285 IPC on the complaint of Vikram Singh S/o Sh. Amar Chand R/o VPO Tikker Tehsil Rohru alleging therein that when he was coming back to his home from Kotkhai his younger brother Daulat Ram informed him that when Shiv Saran  R/o Thana, Tikker and his labourer Ramesh Bahadur was burning garbage in his orchard fire spread suddenly and 120 apple trees of complainant orchard burnt due to this negligent act of Shiv Saran and his labourer Ramesh Bahadur. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath I/C PP Tikker.

10.  A Copy Right Act case FIR No. 25/18 has been registered at PS West today on 29-01-2018 u/s 63 Indian Copyright Act on the compliant of Sh. Baljeet Singh S/o Sh. Darshan Singh R/o House No. 219 Moti Bag ColonyVPO Phulonwal Pankholwal Road Ludhiana alleging therein that Good Media News Pvt. Ltd. has pirated the channels of Sony and run illegally  from its office at Kachhighatti Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Vijay Kumar I.O PS West.  

11.  During last 24 hours 230 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 89, fine realized Rs. 46,300/-, 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,700/-

FOLLOW UP

1.    Accused Krishan Singh S/o Sh. Lal Singh R/o Village Sahtola PO & PS Bayaldhara, Distt. Salyan, Anchal Rapti, Nepal, Age 29 years A/P C/o Ajay Thakur, R/o Village Kanaina Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 15/18 Dt. 25.01.2018 U/S 457, 380, 511, 323 IPC at PS Sadar, released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Sunil Kumar S/o Bhajan Dass R/o Mohalla Uppar Julakhadi PO Hardaspur Tehsil and Distt. Chamba arrested in case FIR No. 18/18 dated 27-01-2018 u/s 224 IPC at PS Sadar remanded in Judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

3.    Accused Raju S/o Sh. Jokhru Ram R/o Village Bhangaal PO Tikkeri Neol, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 28 years arrested in case FIR No. 10/18 dated 25-01-2018 u/s 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East Shimla released on bail by the Ld. Court.
