1 A RIOTING Case FIR No. 162/13 is registered at PS West on 12.08.13 U/S 147,148,149,323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sachin Thakur S/o Sh. Tek Thakur R/o Thakur Niwas New Flower Dale colony Chhota Shimla A/P B.Com. 3rd Year, alleging therein that on 10-8-2013 at about 2.30 PM when they were in the premises of College some one call him from out side and said came out from the campus. When he with Rohit reached at the gate of College. Where Aldow, Sunil, Anup, Vikram, Kulwant, Dinesh Dutt, Hitender Negi,Ankush, Hardeep Chauhan & Punit were standing there. Suddenly, they all attacked on them from back side and he got injuries on his eye, neck and other parts of body. The case is being investigated By HC Anil Kumar I/O PS West.
2 A Snatching Case FIR No.74/13 is registered at PS East on 12-08-13 U/S 358,379 IPC on the statement of Smt .Shankutla Khanna W/o Late Sh. B.Khanna R/o The Next Khanna Building Nr.KNH Shimla, alleging therein that on 12-08-13 when she was coming to home from Lower Bazar at about 7.50 PM near Himland Hotel a young Boy Looking Busy with his mobile phone. When she crossed him Suddenly the young boy grabbing with her and snatch the golden necklace Chain and runaway. Value of stolen Property app.65000/- The Case is being investigated by ASI Sehdev I/O PS East Shimla.
3 During last 24 hours 185 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act . & 13 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act is Rs. 48500/-.
