1 AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 36/13 is registered at PS Chopal on 9.8.13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohan Lal Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Dhari Ram R/o Vill. Dhotali, PO Bhalu, Tehsil & PS Chopal , Shimla, alleging therein that on 8.8.13 at 7.20 AM, he was travelling in HRTC Bus No. HP 03-6124 from Baag when Bus reached to 100 mtr ahead from Baag station Bus driver lost his control on Bus and bus fell Down app. 60 mtr into the field of Roop Singh. 11 persons were in the bus include driver & Conductor. There was no damage to life in this accident. The Case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh I/O PS Chopal.
2 AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No.72/13 is registered at PS East Shimla on 09-08-13 U/S 279,187 MV Act on the Complaint of Waliur Rehman Mirza, alleging therein that on today around 4.00 AM one pick up Vehicle No. HP06A-1710 driver Raj Kumar hit a car vehicle No. HP03B-0176 which is under repair parked in front of his workshop at Bemloe and run away from the spot . Pick up No. HP06A -1710 round up at Shogi Barrier accused has been arrested. The Case is being investigated by HC Parkash I/O PS East Shimla.
3 AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No 95/13 is registered at PS Theog on 9-08-13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Het Ram No 242 I/O PP Fagu, alleging therein that a Truck No HP09C-0385 came Theog towards Shimla & Santro Car No HP10-1685 came to Shimla towards Theog. Both of above vehicles reached to NH 22 Near apple Control room Fagu rash and wrongly driving and got struck . One person injured in this accident. The accident occur due to rash and negligent driving of the Truck driver namely Praveen Kumar S/o Tara Chand R/o Banadghati P.O Matiana Distt Shimla and Santro Driver Varun Thakur S/o Rajender Singh R/o VPO Adahal Tehsil Rohru Distt Shimla. The Case is being investigated by HC Het Ram I/O PP Fagu PS Theog.
4 AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 31/13 is registered at PS Kotkhai on 9.8.13 U/S 279,337. 304A IPC on the statement of Suraj Bahadur S/o Jeet Bahadur Nepali C/o Dinesh R/o Garawag alleging there in that on 8.8.13 he was coming from Dhalli to Garawag along with Gopi Chand and Rakesh in Pickup No. HP09A-2830. Rakesh was driving the vehicle at about 9.30/10 PM as they reached at Bagra due to rash and negligent driving of Rakesh vehicle met with accident and rolled down on slop in which gopi chand s/o Lal Bahadur and driver Rakesh S/o Tilak Raj Nepali died on spot and he got injuries. The Case is being investigated by ASI OM Krishan I/O PS Kotkhai.
5 During last 24 hours 162 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules. 02 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005.The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act is Rs. 27,100/-.
