1. A RIOTING Case FIR No.146/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 02.08.13 U/S 147, 148, 149,323, 504,506, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Sohan Lal R/o House No. 6, Near Govt Sr.Sec. School Lalpani Shimla, alleging therein that on 2.8.13 at 6.30 PM while he alongwith his wife and father were out of side his room and her daughter Robina was in the stairs of toilet, Five persons namely Rohit, Robin, Suraj Balbinder @ Bindi & Banti from Lalpani School side . Rohit caught her daughter Robina from neck and pushed her towards Block No 5. On this he alongwith his family rushed to the spot and tried to stop it, but all above persons have not stop it and gave beating to them and his family with sticks & Iron Rod. The case is being investigated by HC. Ravinder Singh I/O PS Sadar Shimla.
2. A ND & PS Case FIR No. 40/13 is registered at PS New Shimla on 02.08.13 U/S 20-61-85 ND & PS ACT on the Rukka of SI/ SHO Sanjeev Kumar that on 02.08.13 at 08.05 PM when he was on Nakabandi duty with police staff at Khalini Nala a Car No. HP-64A-9900 came from Khalini side towards new ISBT. During Nakabandi duty above car stopped and checked by SI/ SHO. During checking from the dashboard of above car a quantity of 130 gm cannabis has been found. The above vehicle driver /owner told his name Munish Kumar Dhiman S/o Prithvi Dhiman R/o Shiv Niwas Aanji Vikasnagar Kasumpti Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI /SHO PS New Shimla.
3. During last 24 hours 153 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules & 08 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act is Rs. 32,100/-.
