1. A Gambling Act Fir No. 119/17 dated 16-10-2017 u/s 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered at PS Rohru on the Rukka of HC Amit no. 180 I.O PP City Rohru Shimla alleging therein that on dated16-10-2017 while he along with his subordinate officials were performing patrolling & hotel checking at Rohru Bazar then four person were apprehended while they were gambling in hotel room in Monal Hotel Rohru and recovered 2700/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Amit No. 180 I/O PP City Rohru Shimla.

2.    An Accident Fir No. 197/17 dated 16-10-2017 u/s 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered at PS  West on the statement of  Sh. Mahinder Lal S/o Sh Moti Lal R/o  Chariyana PO Pahal Teshil Sunni  District Shimla age 43 years alleging therein that on dated 16-10-2017 at about 7:30 PM when he  was on the way from Totu towards his residence and   reached at Totu Bazar   then one vehicle  came rashly & negligently and hit his foot resulting he sustained minor injuries.  Case has been registered and is being investigated by I/O PS  West.

3.    An Other IPC Fir No. 146/17 dated 16-10-2017 u/s 341, 323, 34 IPC   has been registered at PS  Dhalli  on the statement of  Sh. Virender Sharma S/o Sh Keshav Ram Sharma R/o  VPO Karyali  Teshil Sunni  District Shimla age 32 years alleging therein that on dated 16-10-2017 at about 2:15 PM when was on the way towards Pahari Dhaba at Chalunthi then four person wrongfully restrained his way and attacked him resulting he sustained minor injuries. Case has been registered and is being investigated by I/O PS  Dhalli.

4.    An Other IPC Fir No. 118/17 dated 16-10-2017 u/s 336, 337 IPC   has been registered at PS  East on the statement of  Sh. Nasir Ahamed S/o Sh. Kalu Shah R/o  Kasba Gangoh Muhalla Anarkali District Saharanpur UP A/P  Idgah Colony Lakkar Bazar   age 44 years alleging therein that on dated 16-10-2017 at about 2:30 PM when he along with other painter were white washing  in the under construction building at near Nigam Vihar then one painter namely Abdul Rehman fell down from the 3^rd Floor of the building and sustained  injuries. This incident occurred due to negligence for not providing security equipments   by the Contractor. Case has been registered and is being investigated by I/O PS  East.

5.    A H.P. Excise Act Fir No. 119/17 dated 16-10-2017 u/s 39(1)(a) H.P. Ex. Act   has been registered at PS East on the Rukka of ASI Gopinder Pal  I.O PS East alleging therein that on dated16-10-2017  at about 8-30 PM while he along with his subordinate officials were performing patrolling & hotel checking duty  at Exercise Point near Forest Road then they found one vehicle parked at the road side and   one person was sitting inside the car. On checking of the vehicle, 36 country liquor marka Himachal Orange has been recovered from the possession of him. Case has been registered and is being investigated by I/O PS  East.

6.   During last 24 hours 313 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded =163 & fine realized Rs. 69,300/- and 07 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fined Rs. 7,00/-

Inquest Report information received on dated 16-10-2017 at PS Ramur that one lady namely Mrs.  Pooja Soni W/O Gopal Soni R/O Salyan PO Dharamokat Nepal C/O Bhupesh Village Chandpur PO Kartot Tehsil Rampur Temporary residing Nogli has been died due to hanging.  On receipt of this information I/O SI Luder Singh rushed to the spot along with Staff.  On inquiry is has been found that Mrs. Pooja Soni age 20 years was alone at her home and  she  committed suicide by hanging herself.  Postmortem of the deceased is being conducted today at MGMSC Khaneri.   On preliminary inquiry no foul play came into notice so far, however inquest proceeding U/S 174 CrPC is being carried out. Dead body of the deceased has been kept up in Mortuary of MGMSC Khaneri Rampur.
