Crime Report on May 28, 2017

1. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 55/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 28.05.2017 U/S 341, 323, 427, 506, 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Tulsi Ram R/o Village & PO Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.05.2017 he was going to Hatu in his Alto Car No. HP-06C-6467.  At about 11-55 PM, when he reached near Gujjar Kotha, where one vehicle No. HP-29A-3132 (Traveler) parked on middle of the road. At the mean time another vehicle No. HP-03D-1785 (Pick-Up) also reached there from Narkanda side and asked him why he was blowing horns. Three persons came out from the above vehicle with sticks and beaten him brutally. They have also broken the glasses of his vehicle and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Singh, I/C PP Narkanda.

2. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 56/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 28.05.2017 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC on the statement Sh. Chaman Kishore S/o Sh.  Misar Singh R/o Salach PO Jahu, Sub-Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 29 years alleging therein that on 28.05.2017, he alongwith his younger brother, his wife and brother, his wife and brother-in-law was going to Hatu Temple in Tempo Traveler. About 5 KM ahead from Narkanda, the oil of their vehicle has been finished. One Alto Car No. HP-06C-6467 came there. 3/4 persons came out from the above vehicle and asked him about the stopping of vehicle in the road. They started to abuse them and throwing stone on them. The the case is being investigated by ASI Mohan, I/C PP Narkanda.

3. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 72/17 has been registered at PS Jhkari today on 28.05.2017 U/S 447 427 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ranjor Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Dalaku Ram R/o Village Bajwa, PO Mashnu, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 63 years alleging therein that he has planted 205 apple trees in his land. On 29.03.2017, his brother Saran Dass alongwith his nephew Roshan Lal S/o Jaisy Ram trespassed in his land and cut the above trees. The case is being investigated by  HC Dola Ram, I/O PS Jhakri.

4. During last 24 hours 377 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 140 & fine realized Rs. 55,400/- and 29 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,900/-.

   FIRE INCIDENT:

1. Today on 28.05.2017 at about 06-15 AM, fire broke out in the house of Ghan Shyam S/o Sh. Prem Lal Sharma R/o Village Lunasu, PO Khaira, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, caused damaged to property amounting to Rs. 4.50 lacs approximately.

   INQUEST REPORT

1. On 27.05.2017, Deceased Lal Chand (Nepali) S/o Sh. Narain Singh Presently residing at Ward No. 2, Akhara Bazar, Kullu, age 57 years, committed suicide by hanging himself with Jamun tree in the forest near village Tikker PO Fancha, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. The dead body has been shifted to MG MSC Khaneri, Rampur for further legal proceeding.  

   FOLLOW-UP:

1. Accused Vivek Rajta S/o Sh. Jagat Ram Rajta R/o Village & PO Himari, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 74/17 Dt. 26.05.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Ashish Kanwar S/o Sh. Basant Singh Kanwar R/o Village Majharyana, PO Bharana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 22 years A/P Himral Niwas, Lower Cemetery Fruide Sanjauli, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 75/17 Dt. 26.05.2017 U/S 21, 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police custody upto 29.05.2017, by the Ld. Court.
