Crime Report on May 02, 2017

1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 76/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 01.05.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha, Theog alleging therein that on 01.05.2017 at about 01-25 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Katiana, Sainj, he recovered 600 gram Ganja from the possession of Tipper driver Gopal S/o Sh. Kali Thapa R/o Village Sarakyana, Gavis, Kholagaon, PS Chofa, Distt. Rukkam, Anchal Rapti, Nepal A/P residing at Village Katiyana, PO Baldhar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha, Theog.

2.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 62/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 01.05.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Parma Ram R/o Village Dhaali Bagda, PO Peeran, Sub-Tehsil Junga, Shimla alleging therein that on 01.05.2017, he alongwith his father was coming towards Chhalanda in his Motorcycle No. HP-16-2313. when he reached Near Chhalanda, he overtook a Tipper No. HP-62-1066 loaded with Concrete. Suddenly the Tipper driver negligently turned the tipper and hit with his Motorcycle. In this accident his father crushed under the rear tyre of above tipper. The case is being investigated by HC Virender Kumar, I/C PP Junga, Shimla.

3.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 31/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 01.05.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Gurchetan, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal alleging therein that on 01.05.2017 at about 04-45 PM, one Maruti Suzuki Car No. HP-10B-0971 (Siyaz) met with an accident near Parahat & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Bharat Singh R/o Village & PO Jagothi, Tehsil Rohru Shimla. In this accident, three persons namely Varun Thakur, Akash & Piyush sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Gurchetan, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal. 

4.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 22/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 02.05.2017 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the Complaint of Sh. Ran Singh S/O Sh. Jalpu Ram R/o Vill & PO Irra Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla  alleging therein that on 02.05.2017, after attend the marriage functioni, he was coming to home from Irra.  At about  01.15 AM, a Car No HP-24D-3352, which was on the way from Manu Gian, met with an accident near  Panchayat Ghar, Khund Newal and rolled down from the road. In this accident, six persons namely 1. Surat Singh S/O Sh Ratti Ram Vill Vamthi PO Tikkri tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla H.P age 40 years 2. Banshi Lal S/O Sh Mansa Ram Vill Chainjan PO Tikkri tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla H.P age 36 Years 3. Balwant Singh S/O Sh Sita Ram Vill Bajah PO Tikkri tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla H.P age 35 years 4. Kanwar Singh S/O Debu Ram Vill Chainjan PO Tikkri tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla H.P age 45 Years 5. Mahar Singh S/O Sh. Dhayan Singh Vill Chour PO Tikkri tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla H.P age 54 Years and 6. Om Prakash S/O Sh Karam Chand Vill. Dind PO Ligga Tehsil Saluni Distt Chamba H.P age 26 years, died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Nerwa.

5.  A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 77/17 has been registered  at PS Theog today on 02.05.2017 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village Chambal, PO Baldhar, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 01.05.2017, after attend the marriage when he alongwith brother Vinod were coming back to home in his vehicle and reached near Jarna at 08-00 PM, at the same time one person namely Yashpal alongwith his 3/4 friends obstructed their way, beaten them brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha.

6.  During last 24 hours 236 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 138 & fine realized Rs. 54,700/-, 60 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,100/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 25,000/-.    

FOLLOW-UP:         

1.    Four Accused i) Vikas S/o Lt. Sh. Hari Chand R/o Gagli PO Pagli Tehsil Dharmshalla Distt Kangra Age 31 Years, ii) Rajeev S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand R/O Village & PO Maded Tehsil Baijnath distt Kangra Age 30 Years, iii)  Mahender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Nanak chand R/O Village & PO Sidhwadi Tehsil Dharmshalla Distt Kangra Age 51 Years and iv) Gyasudin S/O Sh. Mohd. Latif R/O Surjan PO Bani Tehsil Bani Distt Katua J&K Age 30 years arrested in Case FIR No. 65/17 Dt. 01.05.2017 U/S 22,29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS West, are remanded in Police custody upto 05.05.2017, by the Ld. Court. 

2.    Accused Gopal S/o Sh. Kali Thapa R/o Village Sarakyana, Gavis, Kholagaon, PS Chofa, Distt. Rukkam, Anchal Rapti, Nepal A/P residing at Village Katiyana, PO Baldhar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 76/17 Dt. 01.05.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, released on bail by the Ld. Court.
