Crime Report on May 11, 2017

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 85/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 11.05.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Avinash Verma S/o Sh. Joginder Singh Verma R/o VPO Duttnagar, Rampur, Distt Shimla, stated therein that today morning at 7.15 AM near Duttnagar an Alto Car No. HP 06A-3781 met with an accident. in this accident three persons sustained injuries and it occurred due to rash & negligent driving of Hari Singh S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o VPO Karire, Rampur, Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev I/O PS Rampur.  

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 33/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 11.05.2017 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mahinder Singh S/o Sh. Kanha Singh R/o Vill. Chounri, PO Jhalta, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt Shimla, HP alleging therein that today at 01.05 PM driver Mohan alongwith Raju & Roshan was driving his vehicle Maruti Van NO. CH01C-5538, as he reached Nr Snail he lost his control over the car and rolled down from the road. In this accident all the three persons died on spot. The case is being investigated by HC Kartar Singh I/o PS Jubbal.

3. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 69/17 has been registered at PS West on 10.05.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Viplav Chauhan S/o Sh. Virender Kumar  Chauhan R/o Village Tawan, PO Dhaban, Tehsil Balh Distt Mandi, HP stated therein that on dated 03.05.2017 at 9.30 PM he parked his bike Bajaj Pulsar NO. HP 33A-8292 opp. Tranquility Appartment Rirka but on 04.05.17 he did not find his above bike there. He searched his bike every possible places but it could not found anywhere. The case is being investigated by HC Man Singh I/O PS West.

4. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 70/17 has been registered at PS West today on 11.05.2017 U/S 457,380,34 IPC on the rukka of HC Prakash Chand I/O PS West stated therein that today one Smt. Asha Devi President G.P. Thari informed that on the intervening night of 10/11.05.2017, some unknown person has broken the locks of her two shops at Shoghi and stolen away one Laptop Sony, Clothes & cash from the shops. During analysis of CCTV footage of her neighboring shop, it is found that three persons namely Ajay, Vijay & one unknown persons, who were worked at Vatika Resort for the last two months have committed the above theft. After analysis the CCTV footage of Cooperative Bank at Shoghi, above persons have also been found while they were trying to broken the ATM at Shoghi Bazar.  The case is being investigated by HC Prakash I/o PS West, Shimla.

5. During last 24 hours 548 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 427 & fine realized Rs. 1,18,400/-, 76 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7600/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act and fine realized Rs. 7,500/-.
