Crime Report on May 12, 2017

  1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 76/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 11.05.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 11.05.2017, on the secret information he alongwith staff conducted raid in the dhara of Kaku R/o Village Shalog, PO Himari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla and recovered 04 Bottles of Country liquor, 2 Bottles of English liquor and 04 Bottles of Beer from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Rajneesh, SHO PS Kotkhai.

  2. A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 30/17 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 12.05.2017 U/S 406 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ramjaram, A/P Inspector in HRTC Deptt. Nerwa Depot alleging therein that today one HRTC Bus No. HP-63-5425 which was on the route from Nerwa to Shimla stopped by him for checking and 06 persons were found travelling without tickets. During enquiry above persons told that Bus conductor Arun Kumar has not given any tickets to them after charging amounting to Rs. 1195/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Chopal. 

  3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 83/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 12.05.2017 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Inder Singh S/o Sh. Rati Ram R/o Village Kingar alleging therein that today on 12.05.2017 at about 02-15 PM, one Bolero Pick-up No. HP-63C-1475 met with an accident near Gharyana & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligence driving of Manoj Kumar. In this accident, one person namely Anup S/o Sh. Prem Singh R/o Village Dinger, PO Theog, Shimla, age 29 years  died on the spot and two persons namely Manoj & Narayan Singh sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Paramjit Singh, I/O PS Theog.

  4. A FIRE INCIDENT: Case FIR No. 72/17 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar today on 12.05.2017 U/S 285 IPC on the statement of Smt. Asha Rathore W/o Dr. Satish Rathore R/o Village Ashateesh Villa, Bothwell Estate near Govt. Degree College Sanjuali, Shimla alleging therein that on 11.05.2017, she parked her vehicle No. HP-07D-0335 (Swift) road side near her house. On the intervening night of 11/12.05.2017, some unknown person has set a fire in her car. After analyses of CCTV footage, it has comes to notice that an unknown person has set a fire in her car. The case is being investigated by HC Brijesh Kumar, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.   

  5. During last 24 hours 271 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 189 & fine realized Rs. 71,200/- and 31 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,100/-.
