A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 74/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 26.05.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.05.2017 at about 09-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff on Dhalli Tunnel-Bhattakurar road, one person namely Vivek Rajta S/o Sh. Jagat Ram Rajta R/o Village & PO Himari, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 22 years intercepted by them near Shiv Mandir and recovered 20 Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.
A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 75/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 26.05.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Kishore No. 1696, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.05.2017 at about 09-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Ashish Kanwar S/o Sh. Basant Singh Kanwar R/o Village Majharyana, PO Bharana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 22 years A/P Himral Niwas, Lower Cemetery Fruid Sanjauli, Shimla, intercepted by them near Jakhu Bifurcation and recovered 200 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 (Restricted Medicine) from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Kishore No. 1696, I/O PP Sanjauli Shimla.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 72/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 26.05.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Mahender Singh, I/O PS New Shimla alleging therein that on 26.05.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff at Kanlog, one person namely Ish Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Birbal R/o Devgarh House, Kanlog, Shimla, age 50 years apprehended with 09 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Himachal Orange. The case is being investigated by SI Mahender Singh, I/O PS New Shimla.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 84/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 26.05.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Yashwant Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Padma R/o Village Dharadi, PO Chhatri, Tehsil Thunag, Distt. Mandi alleging therein that on 25.05.2017, he alongwith his wife Smt. Bimla Devi & Son Manoj Kumar was waiting for Bus at ISBT Shimla. At about 02-30 PM, a driver of HRTC Bus No. HP-25A-3048 negligently back his bus and hit his wife, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh, I/O PS Shimla West.
CAUSING DEATH DUE TO NEGLIGENCE ACT: Case FIR No. 99/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 26.05.2017 U/S 336, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sudhir Bhandari S/o Sh. Pradeep Bhandari R/o Village Tungla, PO Baldhar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla A/P owner of Restaurant at Chhaila Kainchi, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that On 26.05.2017, A Truck No. HP-65-2124 loaded with Concrete was on the way towards Chhaila. Due to heavy storm, a big sign board which was fixed negligently on road side by HP Tourism Departement on previous day, fell down on the cabin of above Tipper, caused sustained injuries to Tipper driver Som Krishan. He was immediately shifted to CH Theog and died at Hospital. This incident happened due to negligent act of Tourism Department. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila, Theog.
A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 40/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 26.05.2017 U/S 447, 448, 427, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Parma Nand S/o Lt. Sh. Situ Ram R/o Village Juni, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.05.2017, one person namely Mashesi Lal S/o Sh. Kundan Lal alongwith his wife trespassed in his land & dismantle his cow shed. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh, I/O PS Sunni.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 41/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 26.05.2017 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vijay Singh Kanwar S/o Lt. Sh. Gopal Singh R/o Village Cheeldhar, PO Basantpur, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 26.05.2017, he was going to home from Basantpur. On the way his brother Kuldeep S/o Lt. Sh. Gopal Singh R/o Village Chheldhar, PO Basantpur alongwith his wife obstructed his way, abused and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.
During last 24 hours 330 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 191 & fine realized Rs. 81,900/- and 33 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,500/-.
FOLLOW-UP:
Accused Vivek Rajta S/o Sh. Jagat Ram Rajta R/o Village & PO Himari, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 74/17 Dt. 26.05.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 28.05.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Ashish Kanwar S/o Sh. Basant Singh Kanwar R/o Village Majharyana, PO Bharana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 22 years A/P Himral Niwas, Lower Cemetery Fruide Sanjauli, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 75/17 Dt. 26.05.2017 U/S 21, 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police custody upto 29.05.2017, by the Ld. Court.
One lady accused arrested in case FIR No. 83/17 Dt. 26.05.2017 U/S 353, 332 IPC at PS Shimla West, released on bail by the Ld. Court.
