Crime Report on May 15, 2017

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 73/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 14.05.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Hem Raj I/O PS Shimla East alleging therein that on 14.05.2017 at about 09-40 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Lower Vikas Nagar, one person namely  Virender Singh S/o Sh. Rann Singh R/o Village Beyog, PO Korag, Tehsil Saghrah, Distt. Sirmaur A/P Kanungo Building, Lower Vikas Nagar, Shimla, age 30 years apprehended by them with 06 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.1. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/O PS Shimla East.  

2. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 44/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 14.05.2017 U/S 341 323 504 IPC on the application of Sh. Ram Lal Nefta S/o Sh. Bhakhru Mal Village Kyarku Shekhal PO Dadi Ghunsa, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 14.05.2017 at about 08-00 PM, one person namely Balbir Singh S/o Sh. Kewal Ram Chauhan R/o Village Khalargi PO Jagothi Rohru obstructed the way of his wife, abused and beaten her brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Ankit, I/O PS Rohru.

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 38/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 15.05.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Leeladhar S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village Paliyuni, Tehsil Nihari, Distt. Mandi, age 40 years alleging therein that on 14.05.2017 at about 08-30 PM, one Motorcycle No. HP-51-2034 met with an accident near Tattapani & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Rafiq S/o Sh. Jamura R/o Village Palyad Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.

4. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 22/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 15.05.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shiv Singh S/o Sh. Jagat Singh R/o Village Buthara, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla A/P running a Shop  at Chirgaon Bazar alleging therein that during the intervening on 13/14.05.2017, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his shop and stolen away 10/12 Mobile Phones, garments & cash. the case is being investigated by HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.  

5. During last 24 hours 296 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 78 & fine realized Rs. 31,700/- and 19 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,200/-.

1. Accused Rattan Bahadur S/o Sh. Nar Bahadur R/o Village & PO Magma, Tehsil & Distt. Rukkam, Nepal A/P residing in Dhara at Jakhoo Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 74/17 Dt. 13.05.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Shimla Sadar, is on Police remand up to 16.05.2017.
