Crime Report on August 22, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 203/16 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 22.08.2016 U/S  279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Farman Ali S/o Sh. Nanhe Ali R/o Village Pippal, PO Kemari, PS Bhot, Distt. Rampur, UP A/P Idgah Colony Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that when he alongwith his friends Ansar Ali & Nayeem was going towards Old Bus Stand, Shimla, at the same time one vehicle No. HP-63A-7900 (Scorpio) came rashly from Chhota Shimla side & crushed his right foot and run away from the spot.    

2. A Theft case FIR No. 202/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.08.2016 U/S 379 IPC & 25 Indian Telegraph Act has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Vikram Sood S/o Lt. Sh. J.N. Sood A/P JTO in BSNL office at CTO Shimla alleging therein that on the information of Sh. Puran Singh, Telecom Technician, he alongwith Jh D.D. Sharma, SDOP-1 reached on the spot near Govt. High School Rich Mount, Shimla and found that some unknown person has stolen away 4 meter of 20 pair & 7 meter of 5 pair telephone cable wire. In this regard, Police has arrested two accused namely Smt. Anita W/o Sh. Bhola Sahani R/o Village Sarwara,  Tehsil & PS Simri, Distt. Darbhanga, Bihar A/P Tenant C/o Dainy R/o Korri Muhalla, Down Dale Shimla, age 23 years and Smt. Anjali W/o Sh. Laxman Sahani R/o Village & PO Shakri, Tehsil & PS Shakri, Distt. Mujjafarpur, Bihar, age 20 years and recovered stolen property from their possession.

3. A Burglary case FIR No. 163/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 21.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC on the statement of Smt. Mangla Devi W/o Sh. jalmi Ram R/o Village Khonotu, PO Taklech, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 20/21.08.2016, some unknown person has broken the lock of her room and stolen away her golden/silver ornaments.

4. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 140/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 21.08.2016 U/S 341 323 IPC on the statement of Smt. Tara Devi W/o Sh. Rajender Singh R/o Village Talaan, PO Kuthar, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 21.08.2016, one person namely Dharam Singh R/o Tallan has obstructed her way and beaten her brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha.

5. During last 24 hours 226 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 128 & fine realized Rs. 33,800/- & 51 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.  5,700/-.  

   Inquest Repot

1. Deceased Pushpa Devi W/o S. Dumber Bahadur R/o Village Rerra, PO Jahu, Nankhari, Shimla age 19 years has been died due to sudden heart attack. After autopsy at CH Nankhari, her deadbody handed over to her relative for cremation.

2. Today an unidentified Deadbody of Nepali Person, age about 50 years found in the Rain Shelter  at Bus Stand Theog. His postmortem is being conducted at IGMC, Shimla.

1. Accused Sunil Kumar @ Sonu S/o Lt. Sh. Ranveer Singh R/o Village Kuthera, PO Bhawarna, Tehsil Palampur, Distt. Kangra A/P Working in New Light & Sound, Subzi Mandi Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 89/16 Dt. 19.09.2016 U/S 18,20,21-61-85 ND& PS Act at PS East, is on police remand upto 23.08.2016.

2. Accused Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Rishi Ram R/o Village & PO Malangan, Tehsil Jhanduta, Distt. Bilaspur, HP age 35 years, arrested in case FIR No. 138/16 Dt. 19.08.16 U/S 379 427 34 IPC at PS Theog. He is remanded in judicial remand by the Ld. Court.  

3. Accused i) Piyush Titla S/o Sh. Balkrishan Titla R/o Village Alawang, PO Devri-Khaneti, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 25 years and ii) Pawan Mehta S/o Sh. Megh Ram Mehta R/o Village Thanari, PO Devri-Khaneti, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 29 years, arrested in case FIR No. 68/16 Dt. 18.08.16 U/S 366A, 376, 506, 34 IPC & 4 POSCO Act at  PS Kotkhai, are in police remand up to 24.08.2016. 

4. Accused Inder Mohan S/O Late Sh. Mansa Ram R/O Village Badahi P.O. Tara Devi Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P. age 38 Yrs has been arrested in Case FIR No. 204/16 Dated 13.08.2016 U/S 353,332  IPC at PS West Shimla, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

5. Accused Prikshit Azad S/o Sh. Rajesh Azad R/o Village & PO Pudag, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla, Age 21 years, arrested in case FIR No. 207/16 Dt. 16.08.2016 U/S 420 384 IPC at PS West. He is remanded in judicial custody upto 24.08.2016 by the Ld. Court. 

6. Accused Mohd. Amjad S/o Sh. Hazi Shaukat Ali R/o 62 Fateh Road, Hakam Shah Colony, Sarahanpur, Distt. Bijnaur, UP arrested in case FIR No. 186/16 Dt. 08.08.2016 U/S 379 34 IPC at PS Sadar, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
