Crime Report on 03.08.2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No 194/16 has been registered at PS West today on 03.08.2016 U/S 39 H.P Excise Act on the rukka of SI Aashish Semual I/O PS West alleging therein that today on 03.08.2016 he along with staff was on patrolling duty/ traffic duty  at Khwara . During his duty he intercepted a vehicle No HP62-1827 and recovered 50 boxes (600 bottles) of country liquor from inside the vehicle. vehicle was driving by Virender Kumar S/o Sh Rajinder Kumar R/o village Dhamechi P/o Bimuliya Tehsil and Distt Shimla.The case is being investigated by SI Aashish Semual I/O PS West 

2. An Accident case FIR No 71/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 03.08.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Amrit Singh S/O Sh. Pritam Singh Thakur R/O Village Noi PO Jagothi Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 02.08.2016, he was going to his home from Rahdhar with Sh. Sohan Singh Thakur in vehicle no. HP 02-0452 Max. At about 08:30pm when they reached near 1 km ahead, above vehicle driver Sohan Singh Thakur lost the control due to rash & negligent driving and vehicle fell down about 150 feet from road. In this accident, both Amrit Singh & Sohan Singh sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Kumar No. 224 I/O Police Post City Rohru.

3. An Accident case FIR No.72/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 03/08/2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinod Kumar S/O Late Sh. Mehar Singh R/O Village Tikkari PO Pujarli No. 4 Tehsil & PS Rohru Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on dated 02/08/2016 going to home from his garden shitali. At about 05:30pm, when he reached near Devpuri, at the same time, a vehicle No. CH 01TA 6841 pikup came rashly from Pujarli side and fell down about 250 feet from road due to loss of control. In this accident, vehicle driver Pradeep and four other Nepali persons namely Kamal, Prakash, Narender, Sagar sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain I/O Police Station Rohru.

4. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No case FIR NO 192/16 has been registered at PS West on 02.08.2016 U/S 341 IPC on the statement of Sh Chunni Lal Thakur S/o Sh Sunder Ram R/o village Vijad Nagar p/o Totu Shimla alleging therein that his neighbor Manoj Kumar broken the pedestrian path of his house without his consent. The case is being investigated by HC Chader Shekher I/O PS West.

5. A Mischief to public road case FIR No 123/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.08.2016 U/S 431 IPC on the statement of Sh Shubham Agrawaal SDO NH-5 alleging therein that a company namely M/S Vindhya Telelinks Limited company damaged the NH-5 by digging road for OFC cable . This company damaged this road more than allowed as per given permission issued to them by NH authorities. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar I/O PS Theog.

6. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR NO 193/16 has been registered at PS West today on  03.08.2016 U/S 323,341,506,34 IPC on the statement of Sh Ajay kumar S/o Sh Nand Lal R/o village Anji Tehsil Kandaghat Distt Solan alleging therein that today on 03.08.2016 four person namely Prem Kumar, Satish Kumar , Rajesh Kumar, Roshan Lal obstructed his way and beaten him brutally. They also threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh I/O PS West.

7. During last 24 hours 356 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 208 & fine realized Rs. 59,500/- and 55 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.  6,100/-

   Inquest Report

   Deceased Nitin Chauhan S/o Sh Bhim Sain R/o Nagalani P/o DhanaoliTehsil Rampur Distt Shimla suddenly fell down into deep gorge of river Sutlej near Nogli and died on the spot. The dead body had evacuated with the help of rescue team. Postmortem conduced at MGMSC hospital and dead body handed over to his relatives.

1. Accused Akanksh S/o Sh. Brij Lal Kashyap R/o Village Chikhad, PO & Tehsil Theog, Shimla A/P Verma Niwas, near Hill Grove School, Frud Sanjauli arrested in case FIR No 167/16 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli send to Judicial Custody by Ld Court up to 08.08.2016 .

2. Accused Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh Sant Ram R/o village VPO Kohbag Tehsil and Distt Shimla arrested in case FIR No 155/16 on 02.08.2016 U/S 457, 380, 511 IPC at PS Sadar is on Police remand up to 04.08.2016.
