Crime Report on August, 09,2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 125/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.08.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the ASI Keshav Chand, I/C PP Chhaila stated therein that on 08.08.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling & collection of intelligence towards Mohari, Guthan etc. On the secret information, he searched the Daily Needs Shop of Nand lal at Kyaru and recovered 05 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by  ASI Keshav Chand, I/C PP Chhaila.
2. A Cheating case FIR No 185/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 08..08.2016 U/S  420  IPC  on the statement of Smt Krishna Sharma W/o Sh Vinod Sharma R/o Krishana Bhawan Vijay Nagar nara B.C.S  Shimla alleging therein that on 05.08.2016 a Saint (Baba)  took her Jewellary like Necklace, two Gold rings, Gold Chain, two ear Rings and Cash Rs one lakh fifty thousand rupees from her for workshop but he did not returned this jewellary box back and he gave her another box  and did cheating with her . The case is being investigated by Mohinder Lal I/O PS Sadar.
3. Causing hurt by means of poison 186/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 08.08.2016 U/S 328, 380  IPC on the statement of Sh Mohmad Ikhlak @ Sallo S/o Sh Sjakeel Ahmad R/o Firojpur Near Chikana Kaswa P/o Chilkana Tehsil Saharanpur Utter Pradesh A/P Kutub Masjid Lower Bazaar Shimla alleging therein that on 01.07.2016 two persons came to his shop and bought Bidi from his shop and went to their room after some time they came again to his shop and gave him some sweets to  eat. When he ate sweets and felt unconscious and when he got up from unconsciousness he was at PGI Chandigarh. On 08.08.2016 he came back to Shimla and found that those persons stolen away Rs 51,000 and 1 mobile phone from his pocket when he was unconscious. The case is being investigated by  HC Ravinder Chaudhary I/O PS Sadar.
4. An Accident case FIR No 65/16 has beenregistered at PS Kotkhai U/S 279,304A IPC on statement of Brij Mohan S/o Sh, Anant Ram R/o Chakuna P/o Bhakol Tehsil Kotkhia Distt Shimla alleging therein that on intervening night of 08/09.08..2016 a vehicle No HP 07D 7008 met with an accident at Kuffar Near Gumma in which a person namely Raman S/o Joginder Singh R/o village Chakuna Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla died while taking him to CHC Kotkhai for medical treatment. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet I/O PS Kotkhai.
5. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No 199/16 has been registered at PS West 08.08.2016 U/S 341,323 IPC on the statement of Sh Vinay Kumar S/o Sh Nand Kishore Pandey  R/o Galmapur P/o and Tehsil  Tareiya Distt Chapra Bihar alleging therein that today on 09.08.2016 a person namely Om Prakesh obstructed his way and beaten him brutally.The case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh I/O PS West.   
6. During last 24 hours 436 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 230 & fine realized Rs. 55,300/- and 87 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs.  9,600/-

Follow Up

1. Accused  Naresh Kumar S/O Sh. Keshav Ram Sharma  R/O V.P.O. Karyali Tehsil Sunni Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No 55/16 Dt. 15.02.16 U/S 457,380 IPC  PS West Shimla, is further on Police remand upto 12.08.2016.

2. Accused Lokinder Gharti S/o Sh Prakesh Chand VPO Salyan Anchal Beri Nepal arrested in case FIR No 105/16  on 25.05.2016 U/S 363, 366, 376 IPC and 4 of POCSO Act at PS Rampur sent to judicial custody by Ld court.
