1. An Excise Act case FIR No 201/14 has been registered at PS West on 12-10-2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Balbir Singh, I/O PS West alleging therein that on 12.10.2014, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Nabha/Phagli in Shimla. At about 09:15 PM, one person namely Surender Pal labourer R/O. Nabha Fagli age 38 yrs has been intercepted by them. During search, they recovered 10 bottles of English liquor marka Green Level and 21 Bottles of Country liquer marka Dabang & 1 bottle of marka Sarur from his possession. The case is being investigating by ASI Balbir Singh I/O PS West.
2. A Gambling Act case FIR No 100/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 13.10.2014 U/S 13-3-67 Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Maan Dass- 81, I/O PP Tikkar alleging therein that on 13.10.2014 he alongwith staff was on Naka duty towards Khadrala. At about 02:00 AM, when they reached near Khadrala rain shelter, he found that 6 persons namely Shivdass S/o Sh. Bhakhav Ram R/o Vill. Kuthari Teh.Rrohru , age 22 yrs, Raman S/o Sh. Devender Singh R/o VPO- Khangteri Teh. Rohru, age=22yrs, Anurag S/o Sh. Mohan R/o Gujandali PO Tikkar Teh. Rohru, age 30 yrs, Rajender Singh S/o Sh. Kewal Ram R/o Pekhadhar PO Khadrala Teh. Rohru, age-44 yrs, Bittu S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Daroti PO Tikkar Teh. Rohru, age-39 yrs, and Surjan Singh S/o Sh. Ishwar Singh R/o Village- Lambidhar PO Ghasni Teh. Rohru were playing cards with cash in the verandah of Sh. Surjan Singh. They recovered Rs. 17,100/- from their possession. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Dass I/O PP Tikkar.
3. A causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means case FIR No. 65/14 is registered at PS Chirgaon on 12.10.2014 U/S 324,323,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunpur S/o. Sh Jethu Ram R/o. Village- Jhalwarri, teh. Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 11.10.2014 at about 09:00 PM, Harinder & Jagdish (Both) S/o. Hira Singh Vill. Jhalwrri have hit the bottle on his head which sustained injury to him. The case is being investigated by HHC Brij Lal, I/O. PS Chirgaon.
4. An Accident case FIR No 83/14 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 12-10-2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Yash Pal Bhandari S/O Lt. Sh. Lekh Raj R/O Village- Sandoa, PO- Dhrogara, Tehsil- Sunni, Distt.- Shimla alleging therein that on 12.10.2014, he was going to Theog from Kingal in his TATA 407 No HP63-4098. At about 01.30 PM when he reached near Ekantbari, at the same time one Car No HP58-8786 (A Star) driven by Raman, came rashly from Shimla and hit his Tata 407. One person Sustained injuries in this accident. The Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh, I/O PP Narkanda.
5. During last 24 hours 132 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 16 Challan under Smoking Act. Total challan were compound= 78 and fine realize Rs. 12,300/-

1. Accused Tanu Sood S/O Lt. Sh. Narender Kumar R/O Feta bazaar Bhawarana Tehsil Palampur Distt. Kangra A/P Amar Niwa Jiwanoo Colony Pari Mahal , Kasumpti shimla- 9, arrested in case FIR No 122/14 Dated 11.10.2014 U/S 21, 22 ND&PS PS East, is on police remand upto 15.10.2014
2. Accused Gopal Singh S/o Lt Sh Adam Ram R/o Vill Koot Po Laghoti Tehsil and P.S Anni has been arrested in case FIR No. 81/14 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at Police station Rampur, today sent to judicial remand upto 25.10.2014
3. Accused Surender Pal labourer R/O. Nabha Fagli age 38 yrs arrested in case FIR No 201/14 dated 12-10-2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act at PS West is on Police remand up to 14-10-2014.
