Crime Report 04 Oct., 2014

1. An Accident case FIR NO 188/14 has been registered at PS West on 03.10.2014 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kedar Dutt S/o Sh. Thakur Dutt R/o Mani Mahesh, Tour & Travel, Shop No. 2, Baba Market, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.10.2014 at about 08:00 PM, one vehicle No. HP-03C-4079 (Martiz) rolled down to his office's roof from the road due to negligent driving of Balbir Prashar. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS West.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 189/14 has been registered at PS West on 03.10.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the application of Sh. Ravi Kumar  S/o Sh. Jarnail Singh R/o Lalpani Labour Hostel,  House No. 27, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.10.2014 at about 06:30 PM, he alongwith his son was going to  Taradevi Plant from Kufri. When they reached at Taradevi, he came out from his vehicle and cross the road to another side. At the same time one vehicle No. HP-08A-1689 came rashly Shoghi side and hit him and run away from the spot towards Shimla. He sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by P/SI Rohit, I/O PS West.

3. A causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means case FIR No. 190/14 has been registered at PS West on 03.10.2014 U/S 323, 324 IPC on the application of Smt. Lalita W/o Sh. Shiv Kumar R/o Bhatia Building, New Totu, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.10.2014 at about 05:00 PM, her neighbourer Puja S/o Sh. Sonu R/o Bhatia Building, New Totu Shimla beaten her son namely Anmol age 11 year and scratched with nail on his mouth. But after realized by Puja, they compromised with each other. On 03.10.2014, Puja again threatened them for dire consequences. Her son Anmol has been examined at DDU ZH, Shimla and Doctor declare sharp/blunt injuries to him. The case is being investigated by SI Harish Kumar, I/C PP Jutough, Shimla.

4. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 54/14 has registered at PS Kotkhai on 03.10.2014 U/S 13-3-67 Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai alleging there in that on 03.10.2014. he alongwith staff was on patrolling at Kotkhai Bazar. At about 04.45 pm when they were coming back and found that four persons namely Roshan Lal S/o Narku Ram R/o Village & PO- Galeha, Tehsil & PS- Kotkhai,  Ashok Kumar S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Ward No 6, Tehsil & PS- Kotkhai Distt Shimla, Gulab Bhrota S/o late Paniya Ram R/o Village Bagra PO Gumma Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla and Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. Jeevku Ram R/o Village Khudvi PO Baghar Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla were playing cards with cash in open place at backside of under construction building of mini secretariat. They recovered Rs. 1560/- from their possession on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/0 PS Kotkhai.

5. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 55/14 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 03.10.2014 U/S 13-3-67 Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Balbir Singh I/O PS Kotkhai Shimla alleging therein that on 03.10.2014 at about 05:45 PM, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty towards Shopping complex at Kotkhai Bazar. At about 05:45 PM, he saw that four persons namely Sanjeev S/o Sh. mast Ram R/o Village- Pali, PO- Himari, Tehsil- Kotkhai, Shimla , Prakash Chand S/o Sh. Mathu Ram R/o Village & PO- Kaidi, Tehsil- Chopal, Distt. Shimla, Santosh S/o Sh. Mohan Singh R/o Village & PO- Kaidi, Tehsil- Chopal, Shimla and Ramesh S/o Sh. Jiva Nand R/o Village- Kupri, PO- Baghar, Tehsil- Kotkhai, Shimla was playing cards with cash. They recovered Rs. 1570/- from their possession on the spot. The case investigated by HC Balbir, I/O PS Kotkhai.

6. During last 24 hours 132 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act & 05 challan under Smoking Act.  Total challan were compound= 48 and fine realize Rs. 20,400/-

1. Accused Faruk S/O Mehardeen R/O Vill. & P.O Savka Mandi Tehsil Badot P.S Chaproli Distt. Bagpath (U.P) arrested in Case FIR No. 32/2014 dated 17.02.2014 U/S 407,120B IPC P.S Dhalli is on Police custody upto 08.10.2014.
