Press Note on dated 20.09.2014

1.            A Roiting case FIR No 176/14 is registered at PS West on 19.09.2014 U/S 145,146,147,149,151,152,188 IPC on the rukka of ASI Bhagat Ram alleging therein that when he alongwith staff was on law and order duty at Library HPU, Shimla- 5 , suddenly 15/16 students namely Narender, Novel Thakur, Roshan, Pradeep, Rohit, Vijay, Dinesh Mehta, Sanjeev, Dev Raj Dogra, Sheetal, Prem, Sharmila, Swati Dogra, Meenakshi, Shiksha & Pallavi come there & shouted with slogans against govt. of HP & Vice Chancellor of HPU which is clear violation of section 144 CrPc implemented by the Administration at HPU. The Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS West, Shimla.

1.            Accused Subhash & Sanjeev arrested in case FIR No. 162/14 Dt. 24.08.2014 U/S 341,147,148, 149,323,506 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act at PS West, are on police remand upto 22.09.2014.

2.            Accused Niranjan Kumar S/o Sh. Vijay Kumar R/o Village- Tilri, PO- Bachhunch, Tehsil & PS Rohru and Rupinder Singh S/o Sh. Bhag Chand R/o Village Bhamnoli, PO- Sammarkot, Tehsil & PS Rohru, arrested in case FIR No 36/14 Dt. 18.09.2014 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act in PS Jubbal is on Police remand up to 24-09-2014

3.            Accused Jagdish @ Jagga S/o Sh. Nagnu Ram R/o Village- Paroi, Tehsil- Dhami, Shimla arrested in Case FIR NO. 33/14 Dt. 30.05.14 U/S 379 IPC PS Sunni  has sent to judicial custody up to 03-10-14

4.            Accused Babu Ram S/o Sh. Kali Ram R/o Vilage- banjani, PO- Shararaghat, Tehsil & PS- Kandaghat , Solan  arrested in case FIR No. 34/14 Dt. 31.05.14 U/S 379 IPC PS Sunni is on Police remand up to 22-09-2014

5.            Accused Karan Jeet Singh S/o Sh. Dharminder Pal Singh R/o H.No. 67/4 Kohli Niwas Jatog have been arrested on dated 19-09-2014 in Case FIR No. 33/14  Dated 30-08-2014 u/s 379 IPC PS Sunni is on Police remand up to 22-09-2014.

6.            Three Accused namely 1. Kalu @ Rajender S/o Sita Ram R/o Vajhani PO Shardaghat tehsil & PS Kandaghat Distt Solan age 26 years  2) Omprakash S/o Gopal R/o vill Jagana PO Dumehar tehsil & PS Arki Distt Solan age 19 years 3) Kamlesh @ Kailash S/o Kaku Ram R/o Vill Kalar PO Bakhalg tehsil & PS Arki Distt Solan age 26 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 94/14  Dated 04-07-2014 u/s 454,380 IPC PS Dhalli are on police remand up to 22.09.2014.

7.            Accused Vinod Kumar @ Vikky S/O sh. Jogi Ram R/O Simapuri Bauder Kalander Colony, Purani Delhi has been arrested in Case FIR No. 104/14 U/S 454, 380 IPC PS Sadar is on police remand up to 25.09.2014.
