Crime Report 06 Sept. 2014

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 77/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 05.09.2014 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Maan Dass, I/O PP Tikkar, Shimla alleging therein that on 05.09.2014, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Tuttupani & Khadrala. At about 05:00 PM one person namely Sarvan Kumar S/o Sh. Bhim Singh R/o Village & PO- Gopalpur, Tehsil- Palampur, District- Kangra A/p Shopkeeper at Khadrala, intercepted by them. During search, 20 gram opium recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Dass, I/O PP Tikkar.

2. A Burglary case FIR No 122/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 06.09.2014 U/S 457,380 IPC that during the intervening night of 05/06.09.2014, some unknown person has  removed the glass of window and entered in his room and stolen two silver glasses, one old Laptop  & CD Player .The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath I/O P.S Sadar Shimla .

3. During last 24 hours 143 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and  10 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 82 and fine realize= Rs. 20,600/-

1. Accused Arun Sidhu S/o Sh. Sumpuran Sidhu R/O House NO.9, Ravindra Enclave, Phase-1 Zirakpur New Chandigarh A/P Shiv Shyam Kutir near Rani Ground Parimahel Kasumpti, Shimla arrested today in case FIR 109/14 U/S 376(2)(I),342 IPC  & 5(M)/6 Pocso Act at PS East, sent to judicial custody for 14 days.  

2. Accused Sarvan Kumar S/o Sh. Bhim Singh R/o Village & PO- Gopalpur, Tehsil- Palampur, District- Kangra A/p Shopkeeper at Khadrala, arrested in case FIR No. 77/14 Dt. 05.09.2014 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Rohru is on police remand for 03 days.

3. Accused Ghanshyam Verma R/o Village- Chareri, PO- Pandoa, Tehsil & PS- Karsog, District- Mandi, arrested in case FIR No. 50/14 Dt. 04.09.14 U/S 304,506 IPC PS Sunni, is on police remand upto 08.09.2014.

4. Accused Mohd. Sharif @ Tidda S/o Sh. Gujzar Mohd. R/o  Chadyar, PO- Suraj chanol, Tehsil- Banni, Distt. Kathua, J&K, arrested in case FIR No. 82/14 Dt. 09.06.2014 U/S 454,380 IPC in PS Dhalli, today sent to judicial custody upto 19.09.2014.

5. Accused Jagdish S/o Sh. Nagnu R/o Village- Parai, PO- Bhathalg, Tehsil- Arki, Distt. Solan  has been arrested in case FIR No. 166/14 U/S 457,380 IPC PS West.
