A Rioting case FIR No.110/14 is registered at PS East on 04.09.2014 U/S 147 149 323 IPC on the application of Sh. Lalit Puri S/o Sh. Kishore kumar R/o Ami Chand building Totu Chowk, Tehsil and Distt. Shimla -9 alleging therein that on 04.09.2014 at about 08.15 PM when he was turning his bus (HP63-1721) at Panthaghati Chowk, one Car Bearing No DL-2HAF-0006 (Duster) was parked there. He requested from driver of the above Car to remove the vehicle. On this 5/6 persons came out from car and beating him. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Lal I/O PP Kasumpti Shimla
An Accident case FIR No. 109/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 04.09.2014 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Rashid Ahmad S/o Sh Fatedeen R/o Village- cvill near Molvi Masjid Ilahibaks, Gagloh Khalsa, Gangoh, Saharanu, UP alleging therein that on 04.09.2014 at about 02.30 PM, he was coming towards Rampur in a Truck No HP 27A-7475. When he reached near Bajir Bowadi, one Motorcycle No HP 62B-0409 with two persons were seated, came from Rampur side. Narender Dhiman S/O Sh Karam Chand Village House No 76 ward No 7 Gompa Road Manali Distt Kullu was driving the Motorcycle. He lost his control from the Motorcycle and fell down in the road. Another person namely Niwesh M/O Geeta Devi V Nehra PO Bahali Rampur rolled down in the road and crushed with his truck's tire and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh I/C PP TTR Rampur.
During last 24 hours 187 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 12 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 126 and fine realize= Rs. 25,000/-
