PRESS NOTE: 30 AUGUST, 2014

 

1.    An Excise Act case  FIR No. 72/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 30.08.2014 U/S 39 Excise Act, on the Ruka of Insp./SHO Amar Chand PS Rohru alleging therein that when he alongwith staff was on patrolling he recovered 10 Boxes of Liquor mark "Himachal Orange" from the possession of sh. Sohan Singh S/O sh. Sukh Ram R/O Vill. Jakhru, PO Solang, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, Near outside of Aditya Bar Rohru. The Case is  being investigated by Insp./SHO Amar Chand PS Rohru, Shimla.

2.     An Excise Act case  FIR No. 73/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 30.08.2014 U/S 39 Excise Act, on the Ruka of SI/Addl. SHO Liaq Ram PS Rohru alleging therein that when he alongwith staff was on patrolling he recovered 7 Boxes of Liquor mark "Himachal Orange" from the possession of sh. Mahesh Shah S/O sh. Jaggu Shah R/O Vill. & PO Ponti, Tehsil Badkot, Distt Uttarkashi, Uttrakhand, Near outside of Muskan Bar Rohru. The Case is  being investigated by SI/Addl. SHO Liaq Ram PS Rohru, Shimla.

3.    Concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body case FIR NO. 129/14 is registered at PS Theog on 30.08.2014 U/S 318 IPC on the statement of Smt. Satya Sharma W/O sh. Jeevan Lal R/O Vill. Pujyali, PO Madog, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, alleging therein that she was going to school Chheidhali with her children. She saw a deadbody of an infant lying behind the way. It is suspected that someone has aborted this new born baby and thrown him there. The Case is  being investigated by ASI Om Prakash I/O PS Theog, Shimla.

4.    A Burglary Case FIR No. 166/14 is registered at PS West on 30.08.2014 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the application of Sh. Brij Mohan Priest of Kali Mata Mandir Jatog Cantt. Shimla alleging therein that today morning when he entered the above temple he found that some unkown person has stolen  4 Chhatar of Kali Mata idol, 3 Silver Haar and 1 Nath(artificial). The Case is  being investigated by SI Harish Kumar I/C PP Jatog, Shimla.

5.  A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 49/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 30.08.2014 U/S 341,323,34 IPC on the statement of Smt. Gangi Devi W/o Sh. Gurdyal Singh R/o Village- Jaisi, PO- Bharara, Tehsil- Sunni, District Shimla alleging therein that on 29.08.2014, while she was coming to home after grazing, at about 06:00 PM, Khem Dass & Jasoda have obstructed her way beaten her.   The case is being investigated by HC Surender, I/O PS Sunni.  

6.  A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 44/14 is registered at PS Kotkhai on 29.08.2014 U/S 341,323,504,506,34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Sharda S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village- Chethla, PO & Tehsil- Kotkhai, District- Shimla alleging therein that on 27.08.2014, she was coming back to home from her orchard, at about 10.00AM, in the same time Krishan Chand, Sandeep & Manoj S/O Sh. Moti Ram residents of Chethla restained and beaten her. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir PS Kotkhai, Shimla.

7.  During last 24 hours 180 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 15 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 58 and fine realize= Rs. 28,800/-

Follow-UP

1.  Accused Hari Ram S/o Sh. Deeep Ram R/o Village- Nahog, PO- Sarog, Tehsil & PS-Theog has been arrested in case FIR No. 128/14 Dt. 28.08.14 U/S 15,20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog produced in ld court who has been bailed out.

2.  Accused Sanjeevan S/O sh. Lakshmi Narayan Jaswal R/O Domapur, PO Janai, Tehsil Maharaja Ganj, Distt Ram Bareli, UP, Age 48 years A/O Chandel Niwas, was arrested in Case FIR NO. 77/14 Dt. 16.08.2014 U/S 364 IPC PS Sadar, produced in ld court today and he is on further 4 days police remand.
