A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 126/14 has registered at PS Theog on 26.08.2014 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Yogesh Kumar, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.08.2014, he alongwith staff was on Naka duty near Machine Dhank at Chhaila. At about 04:15 PM, one person namely Laiq Ram S/O Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village- Banewal, PO- Jais, Tehsil- Theog, District- Shimla was coming from Chhaila, they intercepted him. During search, 1.20Kg charas recovered from his possession. Above accused has been arrested by the police and case is being investigated by HC Yogesh, I/O PS Theog.
A Punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder Case FIR No. 43/14 has registered at PS Kotkhai on 26.8.14 U/S 336, 304 IPC on the statement of Sh. Arjun S/o Sh. Jeevan Singh R/o Nabha Dhobighat, Phagli Distt Shimla A/p C/o Satpal Chauhan S/O Rama Nand R/o Village- Dangvi alleging therein that on 25.8.2014 he alongwith Vijay came to CHC Kotkhai for the treatment of his wife. At about 02:00 PM they were taking tea at hospital canteen. Dr. Neeraj came there and embroiled with Vijay Kumar during conversations. Dr Neeraj beaten his friend Vijay. After this Vijay ran away towards road and Dr. Neeraj along with some other peoples have also ran behind him. During this, Vijay slipped from the road near slaughter house & fell down. Last night he searched him everywhere, but in the morning of 26.08.2014, he found his deadbody in GIRIKHAD. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai.
An Accident case FIR No.163/14 is registered at PS West on 27.08.2014 U/S 279, 337 IPC, 187 MV Act on the complaint of Smt. Kamna Negi Gyamba W/O Sh. K.D. Gyamba R/O Gyamba House, South End, Lane-4, Sector-1, New Shimla alleging therein that on 25.08.2014 at about 02:40 PM when she was crossing the road near PNB ATM at Ghanahatti, a Motorcycle No. DL-95-AK-7353 came rashly from the 16 Mile side and hit her and run away from the spot. In this accident she sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by by HC Yog Raj, I/O P.P. Dhami.
An Accident case FIR No. 34/14 is registered at PS Jubbal on 27.08.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sadiq Mohamad S/O Sh.Riyaj Mohammad R/O Surajpur, PO Purwala, Tehsil- Paonta Sahib, District Sirmaur alleging therein that on 27.08.2014, he alongwith Bansi Lal were coming to Rohru from Teoni in vehicle No. HP-51-9957 (Bolero camper). At about 04:00 AM when they reached near Kuddu Barrier, Dvr. Bansi Lal lost his control and above vehicle rolled down from the road. They sustained injuries in this accident. The case is being investigated by HC Gopal Dass, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.
During last 24 hours 207 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 06 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 106 and fine realize= Rs. 37,940/-

Accused Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village- Banewal, PO- Jais, Tehsil- Theog, District- Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 126/14 Dt. 26.08.2014 U/S 20 ND&PS Act PS Theog, is on police remand upto 29.08.2014.
Accused Sanjaiswan @ Sanjay S/O Sh. Lakshmi Narayan Jaswal R/o Domapur, PO- Janai, Tehsil- Maharaja Ganj, District- Ram Bareli, UP, age-48 years A/p Chandel Niwas, Below Police Station Theog, Shimla has been arrested in Case FIR No. 77/14 Dt. 16.08.14 U/S 364 IPC PS Sadar, is on police remand upto 30.08.2014.
