Crime Report 02-08-2014

 

 

1. A ND&PS case FIR No.137/14 is registered at PS West on 01.08.2014 U/S 22 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Mohan Lal I/O P.S. West Shimla alleging therein that on 01.08.2014, he alongwith staff were on patrolling duty towards Chaura Maidan Shimla. When they reached near Deepak Project, one person namely Abhishek Thakur S/o Sh. Baldev Singh R/o Village- Taleli, Tehsil- Sunder Nagar, Mandi intercepted by them. During search they recovered restricted medicine i.e. 8 small bottles of Rexcof sealed and 34 tablets of Nitrosun from his possession. Accused has been arrested and case is being investigating by ASI Mohan Lal I/O PS West Shimla.

    

2. A Burglary Case FIR No 60/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain today i.e. on 02-08-2014 U/S 457,380 IPC that during the intervening night of 1/2-08-2014 some unknown person has stolen away 3 Nokia Set, 4 set lava ,7 set Intex ,1 Set Champion , 8 set Arise mobile phone, one camera Kodak and one video Camera Sony by breaking the lock of his shop. The case is being investigating by ASI Brij Lal I/C PP Narkanda.

    

3. An Accident case FIR NO.138/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 02.08.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Jony Singh S/o Sh. Ajayeb Singh R/o Sunder Basti Sangroor PB presently driver of truck No. PB-13-Z- 4797 TATA 1109 alleging therein that   on today in the morning when he reached Sonu Bangla one pick-up no. HP- 63B-0553 came   rashly and hit his vehicle from driver side. The case is being investigating by HC Laiq Ram I/O PS West.

    

4. During last 24 hours 206 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 23,500/-

    

5. Today On 02-08-2014 during Traffic checking by Addl SP City & Dy SP City Shimla one vehicle Tata Indica bearing No.HP-63-5265 found  carrying some spare parts of Mobiles and other articles without bills Matter has taken up with Excise Deptt. and on the evaluation by excise deptt. fine Rs.5670/- to Sh. Naresh Kumar S/O Sh Payre Lal, and Fine Rs. 4650/- each to Sunil Verma S/O Sh. Jai Dyal R/O H.No. 137 Ram Bazar Shimla & Rajbir Singh S/O Sh. Suraj Ram. After that on the realization of all the goods and person have been released by excised Deptt.

    

6. Today on 02-08-2014 on the secret information Police has recovered 09 packet (216 pouch) Premium Gutkha from the possession of Sh Daya Shanker S/O Sh Ram Dayal R/O Riksha Building Auckland Shimla.  The matter has been taken up with drug Inspector.

1. Accused Moti Ram S/O Sh. Tej Bahadur R/O Village Jagat Khana Tehsil Nirmand PO Rampur has been arrested in case FIR No. 89/14 dated 31-07-2014 U/S 379 IPC PS Rampur. Today sent to Judicial custody.

2. Accused Abhishek Thakur S/o Sh. Baldev Singh R/o Village- Taleli, Tehsil- Sunder Nagar, Mandi in case FIR No.137/14 Dt. 01.08.2014 U/S 22 ND&PS Act  PS West. Further remanded in Police custody up to 04-08-2014.
