Crime Report 23 August 2014

1. A Cheating case FIR No. 113/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 22.08.2014 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mukund Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Radha Krishan Sharma R/o C/o Pratiksha Cottage, Ankur Day School Kasumpti Shimla-9 alleging therein that his father expired on 15.08.2010, who have a personal account bearing number 10836061492 in State Bank of India near Kalibari Shimla.Ld Court has passed an order of status-quo due to litigation. But on 21.06.2011 & 26.09.2011, Rs. one lac and 80 Thousand respectively has been withdrawn from the above account by his forged signature in conveyance with Bank official.  The Case is being investigating By ASI Nagdev, I/O PS Sadar Shimla.

2. An Rioting case FIR No 114/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 22.08.20114 U/S 147,148,149,323 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Sh.Rohit S/o Sh. Ramesh Lal R/o 5 Ghar Ki Line, Shankli Road, Lakkar Bazar Shimla alleging therein that he is working in Municipal Corporation Shimla. On 22.08.2014 at about 08:00 PM,  he parked his vehicle No. HP-07-0728 (A-Star)  and  was going to home. At the same time, 5/6 persons came there and beaten him.  The case is being investigated by HC Rajpal I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

3. A Theft case FIR No. 101/14 has registered at PS East on 22.08.2014 U/S 451,323,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chandan Dev Shukla S/o Lt. Sh. Rama Nand Shukla R/o Set No. 15, near Kamla Nehru Hospital, Shimla alleging therein that on 13.08.2014, unknown person has entered in his quarter, beaten him and also stolen his mobile. He sustained injuries on his face & nose.  The case is being investigated by P/SI Ashish Pathania, I/O PS East, Shimla.

4. A Hurt case FIR No. 156/14 has registered at PS West on 22.08.2014 U/S 324,323,504,34 IPC on the report of Sh. Chhotu Ram S/o Sh. Ramjas R/o Block No. 29, Dhara No. 01, Nabha House, Shimla alleging therein that he is working in SEHB Society, MC Shimla. On 22.08.2014 at about 10:00 AM, he was collecting the garbage from outside the shop of Pinki S/o Sh. Nand Lal owner of Meat Shop at Totu Bazar, Shimla. By mistake he also pick up the empty bottles, kept by the Pinki outside his shop. On this Pinki, his wife Maya Devi and daughter have beaten and abused him. He sustained injuries on his both wrist.   The case is being investigated by I/C PP Jatough, Shimla.

5. A Cheating Case FIR No. 123/14 is registered on 23.08.14 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC on the statement of HC Manoj Kumar No. 47, A/P Apple Control Barrier, Naiyana (Balag) , Tehsil- Theog, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 05:00 AM, Const. Vinod Kumar has informed him that during the checking of vehicle No. HR-56A-5516 (Pick-Up), the Engine  & Chassis number are not matched with Registration Certificate (RC) of vehicle.  The above vehicle was driven by Raj Kumar S/o Sh. Inder Singh R/o Bidmada, District- Hisar, Haryana. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha, Shimla.   

6. During last 24 hours 305 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 11 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 125 and fine realize= Rs. 31,300/-

7. Follow-UP

1. Accused Deepak Thapa  S/o Goapal Thapa  R/o Jimpa, PO- Khawag,  Distt Puthanj Anchal Rawati Nepal, age-19 years,  has been arrest in case FIR No 43/14 Dt. 20.06.14  U/S 363,366A  IPC PS Rohru, today sent on judicial custody for 14 days.

2. Accused  Manohar Lal, Karm Chand, Jagdish, Surender, Shankar Lal, Ramesh, Bisan Singh, Gopal Dutt have been arrested in case FIR No. 148/14 Dt. 14.08.14 U/S 302,147,148,149,120B,201 IPC at PS West, today sent  on judicial custody for 14 days.

3. Proclaimed Offender Smt. Randeepa W/O Sumit Kumar@ Ashu R/O Verma Niwas New Shimla age 34 years has been arrested by Lady Head Constable Kalpna I/O PS East in N.I Act and sent to Judicial Custody up to 25-08-2014
