Crime Report 19 August, 2014

1. An Accident case FIR No. 121/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 18.08.2014 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Karm Chand S/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Jainikar, PO- Bharada, Tehsil- Tonidevi, District- Hamirpur alleging therein that on 18.08.2014, he was coming towards Shimla from Chail in Tipper No. HP-63-1952. When he reached at Dhalli, at the same time one Taxi No. HP-01-A-9038 came rashly from opposite side and hit with back tire of his Tipper. After this, Taxi Driver alongwith three other persons came out from the vehicle and beaten him.  The Case is being investigated By HC Balbir Singh, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.

2. A Theft case FIR No. 151/14 is registered at PS West on 18.08.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Om Prakash S/o Lt. Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village- Shilon, PO- Jabri, Tehsil & District- Shimla alleging therein that during the intervening night of 17/18.08.2014, some unknown person has stolen away his Motorcycle No. HP-52A-2805 (TVS Flame, Black Colour) parked near Hari Devi at Ghanna Hatti. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami.

3. During last 24 hours 126 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 10 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 78 and fine realize= Rs. 17,800/-

1. Accused Mehnaj W/O Mohd. Sharif @ Tida R/O Ward No.11. Tehsil & P.S Bisoli Distt. Kathwa J.&K age 34 has been arrested in case FIR No.82/2014 Dt. 09.06.2014 U/S 454,380 IPC PS Dhalli, is on police remand till 22.08.2014.

2. Accused Deep Raj Shahi S/o Dharam Raj Shahi C/o Rajinder singh R/o Village Dhangwi The & PS Kotkhai Shimla HP has been arrested in Case FIR NO 39/14 dated 18-08-2014 U/S 39 HP Ex. Act PS Kotkhai, sent to judicial custody.

3. Two Accused  Aman and Lokinder @ Lovely S/o  Sh. Padam Singh R/o Village- Gawana, PO-  Kuthara, Tehsil- Rohru, District- Shimla, age- 34 years have been arrested in case FIR No. 66/14 Dt. 18.08.14 U/S 324,326,506,34 IPC PS Rohru, are on police remand upto 20.08.2014.

4. Accused Hari Dutt S/O Sh. Nanak Chand R/O Radiana PO Subathu, Solan A/P clerk on contact basis Secrecy Branch HPU Age-30 Year has been arrested in Case FIR No.149/14 dated 14-08-2014 U/S 307 IPC PS West, today sent on judicial custody for 14 days.

5. Accused Ashish Kumar S/O Lt. Sh. Jai Sukh R/o Village- Brelangi, P.O Kothi, Tehsil- Kalpa, Distt- Kinnaur, age 45 years has been arrested in case FIR No 08/14 Dt. 10.02.14 U/S 379 IPC at  PS Jhakri, today released on bail. Further arrested in case FIR No 13/14 U/S 379,411,34 IPC at PS Rampur. Accused will be produce before Ld ACJM Court on  20-08-2014.
