Crime Report 28 August, 2014

1. An Accident case FIR No. 70/14 has registered at PS Rohru on 27.08.14 U/S 457 380 IPC that during the intervening night of 25/26.08.2014, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house & his neighbor's Smt. Kewal Devi's house and stolen gold ornaments i.e. one pair ear ring, one nose pin, one Trinonia, one pair of Gokhru, Silver items & Cash Rs. 1000/-.  The case is being investigated by HC Kanwar Singh, I/O PS Rohru.  

2. An attempt to murder case, FIR No 118/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 27.08.2014 U/S 307,323,34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms act on the complaint of Sh. Pawan Kumar S/O Sh Hem Raj at present Chowkidar,  Car parking at Jodha Niwas Shimla alleging therein that on 27.08.2014, he was on duty at car parking at Jodha Niwas Shimla. At about 10:45 PM three persons come in the parking and were carrying something from parking. When he asked to the persons namely Gajan Singh, Gurkirat Singh & Amarvir Singh started to beating him. A person Gajan Singh has fired one shot on him with Pistol but he escaped himself. After that they run away from spot. All the above three accused have been arrested by the police and case is being investigated by ASI Nagdev I/O P.S Sadar Shimla .

3. A Theft case FIR No. 45/14 is registered at PS Chirgaon on 28.08.2014 U/S 447,379,506,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Hari Singh  S/o Sh. Shiv Ram R/o Village- Dali, Tehsil- Chirgaon, District- Shimla alleging therein that on 24/25.08.2014, Smt. Anita and Yashwant R/o Village- Dali, Tehsil- Chirgaon, Shimla have entered in his apple orchard and stolen 200 boxes of apple. They have also threatened him with dire consequences. The  case is being investigated by HC Puran, I/O PS Chirgaon.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 127/14 is registered at PS Theog on 28.08.2014 U/S 279,304 A IPC on the rukka of ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Theog alleging therein that on 18.08.2014, he received an information that one Tractor has met with an accident near Jais Dhati. On this information he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and saw that one Tractor bearing Engine No. 391354/BNQ11303A & Chassis No. WXXTA314190Q32362 rolled down 50 feet from the road and driver expired on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Theog.  

5. During last 24 hours 254 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 03 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 128 and fine realize= Rs. 41,600/-

1. Accused Gurkirat Singh S/o Sh. Balkaran Singh R/o Paniwala, PO- Avohar, Tehsil- Fazilika, Punjab, age-20 years, Gajan Singh S/o Sh. Gurdev Singh R/o Dhanash Chandigarh, Age-24 years and Amarvir Singh S/o Sh. Gurjeet Singh R/o Phase-7, Mohali, 3113, Chandigarh, age-34 year have been arrested case FIR No 118/14 Dt. 27.08.2014 U/S 307,323,34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms act PS Sadar, are on police remand upto 02.09.2014.
