Crime Report 05 August, 2014

1. An assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 111/14 14 has registered at PS Dhalli on 04-08-2014 U/S 353,307 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagat Chand S/o SH. Bhulli Chand R/o Village- Chamaili, PO- Thaila, Tehsil & District- Shimla A/p T/mate O/o Electricity Sub-Division, Mashobra, Shimla alleged therein that on 04.08.2014 at about 10;45 AM he was on his duty at Mashobra. One Jitender Kumar S/o Sh. Joginder Singh alongwith another person came there and called him outside from his office. Where they beaten him and attack on his head with the intention to kill him.  The case is being investigated by ASI Manohar Lal, I/O PS Dhalli.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 57/14 has registered at PS Rohru on 04.08.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Smt. Mamta Bhimta W/o Sh. Kailash Bhimta R/o Village- Mandhol, Tehsil- Jubbal, District- Shimla, age-44 years alleged therein that she is working as a CHC at School Tandholi. After duty, when she was coming to her home by bus and reached at Mohali pull. From Mohali Pull she was going on foot to her home, suddenly one Pick-UP No. HP-10A-3289 came rashly from Rohru side & hit her and ran away from the spot. In this accident she got injuries.  The case is being investigated by  HHC Nanak Chnad, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla.

3.  An Accident Case FIR No 106/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 04.08.2014 U/S 279 IPC, on the complaint of Sh. Brij Lal Sankhyan (M.Sc. Mathematics Researcher) C/o Durga Provision Store Near Shiv Temple Sangti, Summer Hill Shimla alleged therein that on 26.06.2014, he was going from Old Bus Stand Shimla towards High Court through pedestrian path. When he reached near Deepak Ashish Trading Co.-Op. Pvt. Ltd., at the same time one vehicle No. HP-63C-0762 came rashly and hit him. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder No. 80, I/O PS Sadar.

4. A Theft case FIR No. 107/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 04.08.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vishal Prajapati S/o Lt. Sh. Lala Ram Prajapati R/o 111/14, Rail Vihar, LJA Colony, Sector-L, Ahsiana, Lakhnow, UP alleged therein that on 03.08.2014, he came to Shimla. On 04.08.2014, he parked his motorcycle No. DL-65-AJ-0835 at Private Parking at Rivoli Road and went to market to take breakfast. When he return back, he has not found his motorcycle there. When he asked from duty at parking, he told him that one person came their and taken his motorcycle. He searched his motorcycle  every place but didn't find it.   The case is being investigated by L/HC Yogeshwari, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 58/14 is register at PS Rohru today i.e. on 05.08.2014 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Singh S/o Sh. Lal Singh R/o Village- Bankikot, District- Munsikot (Nepal) A/p Servant of Jagjit Singh Machhan R/o  Village & PO- Kuthara, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 05.08.2014, he was going to Devidhar alongwith his sister and waiting for bus at Bus Stand at Rohru.   At the same time on Motorcycle No. HR-03D-4583 came rashly and hit him. In this accident he got sustain injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal, I/O PS Rohru.

6. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 107/14 is register at PS Theog today i.e. on 05.08.14 U/S 20 ND&PS Act PS Theog Shimla on the rukka of ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Theog Shimla alleging therein that today on 05.08.2014, he along with staff were on patrolling duty towards Nangal Devi. At about 03:15 PM, when they reached near link road from Nangal Devi towards Janoti on NH-22, one person namely Mahender Khachi S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Villagle- Bajhevag, PO- Theog, District- Shimla intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 134 gms charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Theog Shimla.   

7. During last 24 hours 214 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 02 challan under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 43,500/-

      Follow Up:-

1. Accused Manoj Sood S/o Sh. Vidya Sagar Sood R/o IIIrd Floor Sood Niwas , Dudhali, Shimla, age-36 has been arrested in case FIR No.210/13 dt. 25.10.13 U/S 420,406,120-B IPC at PS Sadar.  Today Ld. Court has sent him on judicial remand upto 19.08.2014.   

2. Accused Abhishek Thakur S/o Sh. Baldev Singh R/o Village- Taleli, Tehsil- Sunder Nagar, Mandi in case FIR No.137/14 Dt. 01.08.2014 U/S 22 ND&PS Act  PS West. Further sent on judicial remand up to 05-08-2014.

3. Accused Ravi Sharma S/o Sh. Naval Kishore Sharma, Dimple Sharma D/o Sh. Naval Kishore Sharma, Naval Kishore S/o Sh. Baij Nath Shrma and Nisha Shrma W/o Sh. Naval Kishore Sharma R/o Prabhu Niwas Kangnadhar, Phase-III, New Shimla on interim bail till 11.08.2014 by Ld. Session Judge Shimla.
