Crime Report 12 August, 2014

1. A Burglary case FIR No. 95/14 is registered at PS East on 11.08.2014 U/S 454,380 IPC that on 11.08.2014, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his quarter and stolen away golden ornaments i.e. two gents finger rings, two ladies finger rings, one kitty set, one chawk, one pair ear-ring, one Mangalsutra without chain and cash Rs. 9300/- from almirah.  The case is being investigated by SI Garib Dass, I/C PP Kasumpti    , Shimla.   

2. A Theft case FIR No. 108/14 is registered at PS Theog on 11.08.2014 U/S 447, 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Prakash S/o Lt. Sh. Kanshi Ram R/o Village- Kadrawal, PO- Shadi, Tehsil- Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 11.08.2014, Smt. Sodha Devi, Sunita (daughter) and Nepali labourer have stolen away 206 crats of apple from his land. The case is being investigated by ASI Santokh Singh, I/O PS Theog.

3. An Excise Act  case FIR No. 96/14 is registered at PS East today i.e. on 12.08.2014 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Ajay Kalia, Addl. SHO PS East alleging therein that during patrolling/checking he recovered 96 bottles of country liquor from vehicle No. HP-01A-2374 driven by Pradeep Kumar R/o Village- Bandali, Tehsil- Theog, District- Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Ajay Kalia, Addl. SHO, PS East Shimla.

4. A Forgery case FIR No. 97/14 is registered at PS East today i.e. on 12.08.2014 U/S 166,467,468,469,471,420,120B IPC on the application of Sh. Gobind Shandil R/O Karyali P.O Maluthi Tehsil & District- Shimla alleging therein that Sh. Deva Nand, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat  Pujarli has forged  in Resolution of Panchyat Proceeding and Caused undue benefits to his father and brother. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Lal, I/O PP Kasumpti.

5. A Burglary case FIR No.117/14 is registered at PS Dhalli today i.e. on 12.08.2014 U/S 454,380 IPC that some unknown person entered in his house about 10.30 AM to 11.00 AM & broken the locker of his safe and stolen away golden ornaments i.e. 2 pair finger rings, 4 pair Bangles, one golden ring, 3 pair tops golden, kity set, ear tops with chain locket, one Mangalsutra, 3 pair golden Jhumke, 1 Diamond ring, one pair diamond Tops, 3 pair silver payals, 2 ATM cards of PNB and cash Rs. 50,000/-. The Case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt. I/O P.S Dhalli Shimla.

6. During last 24 hours 155 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 10 challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 72 and fine realize= Rs. 18,500/-
